According to Soap Opera Digest, the following will be taking place this Fall:
Chad returns to claim his place in the DiMera family and will have heated encounters with his siblings upon returning(some of which may be physical). Chad will also rescue Jordan, who confronts a dark man from her past.
EJ is confronted by someone from his past who is not pleased about his involvement with Abigail. EJ remains determined to win Sami back and is even willing to take a stand against his family to do so.
Nicole considers taking a job out of town and wants to know how Eric feels about it. Nicole and Daniel begin to settle their differences.
Hope and Aiden confront their feelings for each other. Hope is ready to make a tough decision regarding Bo. Ken Corday states that Bo's absence must be addressed in order for Hope to move forward.
Brady and Theresa's relationship takes an unexpected turn, as they can't seem to stay away from each other.
Cyde pursues Kate while he works to expand his business in Salem. Ken Corday thinks this couple has exciting potential.
Will decides to, once again, make the DiMera family the focus of his next writing job.
JJ finds himself in trouble after a college party. Eve continues to scheme to break up JJ and Paige, but there may be unknown forces causing trouble as well.

I am excited to see a new side of Chad. My only fear is he will be pining after the beloved child Melanie.

Maybe Chad will spice Jordan up.
I'm personally kind of happy about Brady and Teresa. I think they could end up being a good couple. They both have clearly have horrible luck in love. If they could clean their acts up I'd love to see them bring each other some happieness.
Will! Doesn't look like he's going to get any better any time soon.
Oh JJ! I know he's got to have drama since it's a soap but I'm not looking forward to seeing him either screw up or someone making it look like he did.

I'm really worried about JJ too.
I agree with Ken Corday about needing the Bo situation resolved and also about Kate and Clyde's potential. Looking forward to seeing that play out.
