SOUTH SIDE APARTMENT
 
Gus: Find yourself another nanny. I’m out of here.
Gus opens the apartment door and goes outside. He finds himself face to face with Philip and Chloe. He makes a run for it and Philip chases after him.
 
Chloe walks into the apartment and sees Vivian standing in front of Wesley’s crib.
Chloe: Get away from him.
Vivian: I don’t know what’s going through your little birdbrain, but this isn’t your child.
Chloe: Get away from him or I swear I’ll kill you Vivian. You of all people know what I’m capable of when I’m motivated.
Vivian slowly moves away from the crib as Chloe approaches. Tears fill her eyes, spill over and roll down her cheeks as she looks at her son for the first time in months. She reaches into the crib and picks him up. She kisses his head and clutches him to her body. 
 
Philip returns pulling Gus behind him. He pushes a semi-conscious Gus onto the floor and looks at Chloe holding Wesley. His heart leaps as he walks toward them. He takes the baby out of her arms and kisses him.
Philip: Hey big guy. You really are a big guy now, aren’t you?
Philip puts his free arm around Chloe. He looks over at Vivian.
Philip: How in hell are you involved in this? And why?
Vivian: Philip, my darling, it’s so good to see you. You’re looking well.
Philip: Shove it up your ass, Vivian. I want answers. 
Vivian: Sorry. What was the question again?
Chloe: Why!?! Why did you do it?
Vivian: I want a lawyer.
Philip hands the baby back to Chloe and goes over to Vivian and gets in her face.
Philip: A lawyer can’t help you where you’re going. 
Vivian: Pardon?
Philip: You’re going to hell and I’m going to send you there.
He puts his hands around her throat and starts squeezing.
Chloe: Philip! No! Don’t kill her. We didn’t come this far just so you could spend the rest of your life in jail.
Philip: Seriously? You think the Belize Police Department is better at solving murders than the Salem PD?
Chloe: Philip please! You don’t want your son to see you kill someone.
Philip stops strangling Vivian who gasps for air.
Vivian: We had your best interests at heart darling. Yours and William’s. I mean Parker. I mean Wesley. 
Philip: Just shut up. I’m done with you. I don’t want to hear anymore.

I have tears in my eyes reading this. Philip and Chloe have Parker/Wesley/William back. I wanted Philip to not kill Vivian so am glad that Chloe stopped him. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Happy 4th of July.

Happy tears at Chloe and Philip finally getting their son back!! Chloe was right. It's not worth it to try and kill Vivian. Now, I can't wait to see what happens when they confront Victor and Kate! Woohoo! Go Team Phloe!!!

Terrific chapter Kpatch!! I am glad that Chloe stopped Philip from killing Vivian. She certainly wasn't the one behind the plan. She was probably just a willing participant. I can hardly wait to read the next chapter. I am thrilled for our beautiful Phloe family to be reunited at last!!

WEST END APARTMENT, THAT NIGHT
 
Philip and Chloe are sitting on the floor playing with Wesley, who is giggling like crazy.
Chloe: My sweet little angel. We have him back, Philip. He seems okay, doesn’t he?  
Philip: I think so. But we should have him checked out when we get home.
Chloe: I think he remembers us. I think he knows we’re his mama and papa, don’t you?
Philip: If he doesn’t, then he’s doing a pretty good job of faking it. Look how happy he is.
Chloe: That makes two of us. Philip, I feel like I’m dreaming. I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy in my whole life.
Philip: Me either, sweetie. I’m so happy, I sometimes feel like I could explode.
Chloe looks at Philip.
Chloe: That’s what you wrote in your last email to me.
Philip: I know. This is just the beginning for us Chloe. Life is just going to get better and better.
Chloe: Think so?
Philip: Oh, I know so.
Chloe: I’m ready to go home.
Philip: So am I, but ...
Chloe: But what?
Philip: Our house is gone. Where do you want to live?
Chloe: I don’t care. I don’t care if we live in a cardboard box. As long as the three of us are together.
Philip: A cardboard box, huh? Where would you put your makeup collection?
Chloe: You’re in big trouble, soldier.
Philip: Ha!
Chloe gets pensive.
Philip: What’s the matter?
Chloe: There’s something I haven’t told you. After I thought you died, I thought I was pregnant.
Philip: Oh?
Chloe: When I found out I wasn’t, it was like I lost you and Wesley all over again.
Philip puts his arms around Chloe.
Philip: I’m so sorry sweetie. 
Chloe: I am so angry at your parents. I could kill them. 
Philip: Actually, I’ve given that a lot of thought.
Chloe: Seriously? And?
Philip: And ... I think it would be best if you didn’t know what I’m planning to do.
Chloe: Philip! Is it illegal?
Philip: Um ...
Chloe: Nevermind. Don’t tell me.
Philip looks at Wesley who is sound asleep. 
Philip: Hey. Look. Wes fell asleep here on the floor.
Chloe: I’ll put him down for the night.
They get up off the floor, with Chloe scooping Wesley in her arms. She puts him in the crib they took from the South Side apartment where he was being held. Then she turns to face Philip.
Philip: I was just thinking. Maybe we can start working on a little brother or sister for Wes.
Chloe: I think that Wesley deserves our undivided attention for a while before we start adding to our family.
Philip: Hmmm. You’re right. As usual. But I still think we should practice. Don’t you?
Chloe: Oh definitely. We need to practice ...
They kiss.
Chloe: Until we get it perfect.
They kiss again.
Philip: I think it’s pretty perfect now.
They kiss again.
Chloe: Oh I think we need a lot more practice.
