Unfortunately I think Philip probably needs to keep quiet to Melanie that his memory has returned until Parker is found. They can't risk him going so far underground that they never find him. The password was a sweet nod to their first date. I really liked that.

WEST END APARTMENT
Philip and Chloe have returned to their Belize apartment.
Philip [looking at his iPhone display]: No word from my contact yet.
Chloe: So do you still love her?
Philip: Chloe. Don’t do this.
Chloe: I think it’s a reasonable question. You’ve been living with her for the past few months like you were married to her.
Philip: Come on. I feel guilty enough.
Chloe: She’s the one who should feel guilty. She played right along with the charade. She was very mean to me too.
Philip: I didn’t know that.
Chloe: You know how Melanie gets when she’s out for revenge.
Philip: I’m sorry.
Chloe: Stop saying you’re sorry. You were brainwashed.
Philip: How am I supposed to feel? I hurt you. I hurt her. The situation stinks.
Chloe: I know, but you didn’t create the situation. You were a victim of it. You still haven’t answered my question.
Philip shakes his head and looks at Chloe.
Philip: Melanie didn’t want me to help you find Wes.
Chloe: She didn’t?
Philip: She told me she was afraid of what would happen if I was alone with you. But then she realized that she was being selfish. So she told me I should go. The last thing she said to me ... she said she didn’t have any regrets and neither should I. I didn’t know then what she meant. ... But I do now. She knew if I went with you, she would lose me.
Chloe: You’re almost making me feel sorry for her.
Philip: To answer your question ... I’ll always love Melanie.
Chloe: Oh.
Philip: ...Just like you’ll always love Daniel and Brady. But Chloe, you’re the only one I ever want.
Chloe: Really?
Philip: Really. From the moment I first fell in love with you 12 years ago, I knew I would always love you. And I always have.
Chloe: I love you too, Philip. I never want to live without you again.
Philip: Then we have to stay strong. We have to have faith in each other. We have to have faith that we’ll get Wes back, and we’ll be a family again.
Chloe: You’re right. I’m sorry I doubted you.
Philip: It’s okay, sweetie. I understand. He smiles. Just don’t do it again.
Chloe smiles back.
Chloe: I won’t.
Philip: Come here.
He takes her in his arms and holds her tight.
Philip: I love you.
Chloe: I love you more.
Philip: I seriously doubt that.
They start kissing and make their way to the bed where they make love.

Can't wait to read more... Melanie is one smart cookie, she knew that if Phillip went with Chloe that eventually he would remember that he was married to Chloe and NOT Melanie. But am glad that Phillip and Chloe are close to finding Wesley.

Great chapter Kpatch! I am glad that they finally talked about Melanie and have moved beyond it. I am so glad that you didn't mention Lucas as someone Chloe would always love. It's best to forgot about that nonsense. Is it tomorrow yet?
