Did anyone watch this show on PBS? It may not appeal to you because it is about an older couple who reconnect 50 years after a high school romance. I really enjoyed it - there have been 2 seasons so far. It stars the wonderful Derek Jacobi and the amazing Anne Reid. Their grandsons set them up on facebook and they discover that they went to high school together. The 2 seasons follow their romance, marriage and their family problems. Both families have their own set of problems. Great acting, beautiful scenery and believable characters. It is not a sappy romance -- they deal with real problems.
Anne Reid also starred in "The Mother" with Daniel Craig (James Bond). She plays a woman in her late 60s who has an affair with a man half her age. Pretty gutsy actress -- she did some nude scenes.

Sorry, they just finished up season 2 last night on PBS. I'm sure it will be on youtube or Netflix soon. Here is a scene from the reception.
