LOL at Nicole trying to remember how many. HA HA. Colin whatshisface...is that Murphy or something? I can't remember exactly who or what he was, just that he came during the time in Aremid didn't he? (I JUST realized that Aremid is DiMera spelt backwards. LOL...they sure use that a lot on days. With Melaswen too...)
Can't wait for another chapter tomorrow!

Bo: It’s a good thing Hope called and asked me to stop at the home office store and pick up some copy paper.
Roman: I know! Who woulda thunk they’d sell white boards there? Make sure you charge the expense to the City.
Bo: I’m charging my new iPad to the City too.
Roman: Okay, so let’s write down the list of suspects on da white board.
Bo: He’s the crayon.
Roman: I don’t wanna write on it. You write on it.
Bo: No, you. You have neater handwriting than I do.
Roman: But my wrist hurts from playing darts.
Bo: Fine. I’ll do it.
Several minutes pass with Bo and Roman staring at the white board.
Roman: This is a tough case.
Bo: Tell me about it. Wanna go get a beer?
Roman: We always think better after we’ve had a beer.
Bo: Let’s go.
Roman: Lead da way, little brother.
A BOAT IN SALEM RIVER
Trent comes downstairs to see the hostages.
Trent: Looks like you ladies are exactly where I left you. Hahaha.
Nicole: My, you look smug.
Melanie: Did the Kiriakises pay the ransom?
Trent: Yup. That’s why I’m here.
Melanie: You’re letting us go?
Trent: Don’t be stupid. If I let you go, you’ll tell everyone I kidnapped you and I’m still alive.
Melanie: You’re going to kill us?
Trent: Indirectly, yes.
Nicole: What is that supposed to mean?
Trent: Before I get off this boat and jump onto my C-Doo, I’m going to put this boat into high gear and eventually you’re going to crash into something and be blown to smithereens ... or drown.
Nicole: You’ll never get away with this.
Trent: Why not? Don’t tell me you think the Salem Keystone Cops will catch me. That’s a laugh.
Melanie: Trent ... I mean Dad ... don’t you care just a little about us? Don’t we mean anything to you?
Trent: Aw, sweetie, if I had a heart, I might care. As it is, I don’t. See you in hell!
Trent heads for the upper deck as Melanie and Nicole look at each other with terror in their eye. Eyes.
COP SHOP
Bo and Roman are again staring aimlessly at the white board, which still has no names written on it.
Bo: This is hard work.
Roman: I know. I’m brain dead at this point.
Bo: We should knock off for the day.
Roman: Ya know, whenever I have a problem I need to work out, there’s one activity that always helps me think clearly. Are you game?
Bo: Let’s do it!

Oh my. Poor My girl Mel (Melanie) and Nicole. I am so glad this is not a Friday. Not sure if I can wait till tomorrow. Just love how Bo and Roman are not getting anything done. Looks like Mel and Nicole are going to have to save themselves. Mel even tried to get Trent to soften by calling him Dad. Just loved his answer about not having a heart. Thanks for the laugh this morning Kpatch.

Well apparently the SPD isn't having any financial issues, at least according to Bo. Wow, these guys really need a cut in pay!
Something tells me though that these 2 incompetent boobs will fall into this case, literally.

I can only imagine what activity always helps Roman work out his problems ... I mean after the 10 or so beers don't work that is... you know I just remembered something from "Roman Holiday" (the story about Roman's vacation) - I think he has a drinking problem ... that I'm sure Roman would describe as having two hands and only one mouth  |

You sure this isn't the Tale of Two Boobs, ahem, I mean Brothers? I'm playing along although I love me some Roman. Maybe one day , in a future story, he can be the hero? Just for me Love the whiteboard. When was the last time they actually used that on the show? Wasn't it when Caroline was in jail for Trent's murder. Wow. Nod to the great jkjpatch's memory! Trying to remember who actually solved that case to get a clue, but I can't! Darn it! |

SALEM RIVER, THE MOTORBOAT
Melanie: Omigod, it feels like the boat is picking up speed!
Nicole: That’s because it is.
Melanie: We’re in trouble.
Nicole: We’re as good as dead.
Melanie and Nicole: Heeeeeeelp!
SALEM RIVER, THE ROWBOAT
Bo and Roman are in a rowboat on Salem River, a couple of fishing lines are dangling over the side unattended.
Bo: This was a great suggestion, Roman. Gotta love fishing.
Roman: My head is feeling clearer already.
Bo: Got any ideas about suspects?
Roman: Nope.
Bo: Well, we discussed the case, so we can write off this little fishing excursion.
Roman: Well done, grasshopper. I have taught you well.
A half hour goes by. Roman and Bo have fallen asleep. In the distance, the sound of a motorboat is heard, and it’s getting louder and louder, and closer and closer. Roman stirs, but does not open his eyes.
Roman: What da hell is dat?
He opens his eyes and sees a motorboat making a beeline for their little rowboat.
Roman: Bo! Wake up! We need to get da hell outta here!
Bo: Holy sh!t!

I just wiped the cereal off my monitor again. (Yes I know Kpatch I never learn) The line of Roman to Bo Welll done, grasshopper, I have tought you well did it this time. Looks like they are going to solve the case by going fishing. Wonder how they are going to stop the boat without anyone getting hurt. Thanks for the chapter.

Love how the PD is too incompetent to actually solve a case through the normal channels of investigation but somehow stumble upon it anyway.  Great chapter! Can't wait to see the resolution. |
