Frankly I'm not excited about this if it isn't Casey in the role.I may be in the minority here,but I thought he was a good actor and liked him as Chad.

I liked Casey as well, but he did say in an interview that it was completely his decision to leave the show and that he wanted to pursue other career opportunities. I guess they have to recast the role in they want Chad to return. |

"Chad’s return will change the dynamic of Salem society in ways that fans won’t want to miss!” The role was previously played by Casey Jon Deidrick from 2009-13.
I'm happy because we have Chad back, but sad that it's not Casey. Billy had better be a really good actor. Because I need for Chad to tell Abby a few choice things that I can't say right now. Namely, go screw herself.

In this picture, he resembles Blake Berris. I hope TPTB throw him into the mix right away instead of having meaningless conversations with other characters for weeks on end.
I am looking forward to seeing if Abigail will still be looking down her nose at him for lying to her.

Chad now that he's back in town I wonder if he will take an interest in the family business that being DiMera Enterprises?
