I am so confused now about Kate's work situation. I had the impression that she owned Mad World when the storyline with Nick was taking place and also when Sheryl came to town. Now, Victor is firing her. Does Victor own Mad World? Does anyone know what the deal is exactly? wendylou, Kate did mention that if everything goes according to plan, she and Sami will be set for life. They are wealthy, but I guess having ownership of Dimera Enterprises would make them feel even more secure. I agree that is more about taking it from them, because at this point neither of these women wants for anything...materialistically speaking. @dukeblue, there was some kind of switch at some point that leaves me confused as well, but Kate used to own Countess Wilhelmina, named for her daughter Billie. It was originally Billie's company. Titan bought Mad World from Madison James. I think that was her name. Today, Sami and Kate agreed that once this plot was over, their partnership was too. So I think that was a foreshadowing of them going into business together, pulling some sort of coup and running the business(es) together, meaning Mad World and Countess W. That would be fun to watch.

In addition to wanting to know what these women are up to, I'm also really curious as to when this all happened. Were all of their fights in the square, in front of Jordan, etc. all an act back then? Was that why they were so juvenile and showy about it, so that people would notice them fighting and not suspect a partnership?

That fight they had in front of Marlena, where Sami threw Kate under the bus, and then Kate complained to EJ about it -- that definitely had to be part of the plan. I sure hope we find out when and how Sami found out about the affair too.
