Who's going to fireworks? Who's having a cookout? I usually end up watching fireworks from my backyard. I can usually see several, north, west and east of us. We'll be grilling burgers and Ron promised to make me my first Siesta Breeze of the season. |

We just bought our fireworks last night. We'll have our cookout on the 4th and fireworks afterwards. We live out in the county and have no restrictions on popping them off. We usually do a lot of smaller stuff and then do a big finale around midnight. A friend of mine and her husband and daughter will be here and we're trying to find out if another couple and their kids are going to come or not so we can make sure we're making enough food. Hubby will be smoking pork from one of the pigs we raised (either ribs or roast).

I'm hanging out poolside with my sister. We will go to nearby fireworks tonight.

Ron and I almost never have a day off together, so today is a rare treat. We went bowling today for the first time in about 2 years.
