Days of our Lives' Promo: Emmy-Nominated Kassie DePaiva Debuts as Eve Donovan This Week! This week on Days of our Lives, popular actress Kassie DePaiva (One Life to Live, Guiding Light) makes her much-anticipated return to daytime as the new Eve Donovan on Days of our Lives. Last week on Days, Paige (True O'Brien) told JJ (Casey Moss) that her mother was coming to Salem. It looks as if Eve is Paige's mother! With Jennifer's (Melissa Reeves) son dating Eve's daughter, sparks are sure to fly. Poor Jennifer. Daniel (Shawn Christian) has had it with her, and Eve will apparently be needing Dr. Daniel's medical expertise. Jennifer knows better than anyone how turned on Daniel gets by his patients. Many years ago, Eve and Jennifer fought over Frankie Brady (Billy Warlock), and Eve married Jennifer's true love, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Eve always knew how to torture Jennifer. Did anyone remember Eve marrying Jack?? I do not remember that AT ALL. I see that it's in the Soap Central history that Minako posted, but I don't recall that. link |

So they are really going to have Daniel get into a relationship with ANOTHER patient? Really?
I guess I'm one of the few that could care less about Eve's return. I know I saw her on the show but I sure don't remember her marrying Jack and getting together with Frankie. So...if Eve is Paige's mother could Frankie be her father? How weird would that be? The son and daughter of first loves being in a relationship???
I don't really want to see another story where Jennifer is the target of another vendetta. How many of those have we seen lately? Anne? Theresa? Liam? Come on! Let's just put her on the backburner instead of this constant repitition please.

Plus I really want to see Jennifer and Eve come face to face especially if their children are dating that is if Paige is Eve's daughter and JJ of course being Jennifer's son

Seriously? Another patient for Dr. Dan? Doctors don't have to meet their love interests on the hospital set. They have the Horton Square, the park bench, the Pub, Club TBD, anywhere!
I knew JJ and Paige were just sailing along too smoothly and shrugging off Bev's half-witted plots too easily. Bigger struggles are to come. Romeo and Juliet and them trying to be together despite a family grudge? Or will this pull them apart and put them at odds?
The plus side is it is a returning character with history on the show. Too bad that was just slightly before my time to start watching, so I don't know much about Eve.

I'm pretty sure Dr Dan could lose his license over all of his former patients that he's...gotten into a relationship with.
But I admit that I would LOVE for this to put Jennifer on the back burner and also maybe make Dr Dan look a little less perfect....

But who else in town is there besides Daniel that Eve could be paired up with? I certainly wouldn't wish her on Brady that's for sure and I can't see her with Rafe or EJ I could if Charlotte Ross were playing her but she isn't but instead Kassie DePaiva is so let's see who could Eve be paired up with? Well there's Lucas they could pair her up with

There are plenty of men in Salem who are 40ish or older. Eve could get involved with any of them.
