Oh I hope not wendylou!!! I love seeing that face & chest of Brady's....heck, I like all of Brady! I just wish they could give him a better storyline. I hate to keep going back to the sarcophagus days, but that was truly the last bit of really good writing anyone did for Brady. Eric Martsolf is such a talented actor that I hate to see his abilities just thrown aside like this. Rafe/Galen is the same way. Both have already shown they can rock their scenes when given the chance. I wish they had that chance more often. I don't want the show to be all her front & center. We've had enough of that with EJ & Sami and Daniel and Jennifer. Give me a good mix of everyone. Involve everyone in their own storylines but have it play into a much bigger one. Heck, Vivian got around town in the midst of everyone's storyline and that was only one character. I'll take a good mix over one good character any day......unless that one good character is a good looking, shirtless (prefer sans-clothes but being daytime I know that won't happen) male.  |

They are doing to Brady exactly what they did to Philip.....throwing him into pointless storylines. They never really made Philip a front burner storyline. I like Brady, but I hate seeing him with Theresa. I really don't see Melanie being thrown into Abby's storyline if she is coming back. I really wish TPTB would bring Philip back, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. TPTB are just grasping at straws at to what to do now that Sami and EJ are out. Days def needs new writers..... |

But who can they hire as new writers? But if they are going to rebuild the 20 something set then they need to add more characters into it

Great comment wendylou. I agree 100%. On a side note, I missed Phillip on canvas entirely as well <<ducking>>. Does anyone know where I could find Phillip's storyline(s) through the years in chronological order? On YT maybe? Slyn has a lot of them on Youtube with a focus on Philip and Melanie, although I'm not sure if she chronicled the teen years. Her videos look like they have dates on them, so you can try to view them in order. What about Stephanie villa281? I was thinking it would be a good time to bring back Shawn and Belle also. If the character of Philip returns, my guess is it would be a recast. |

Obviously, I would love for Stephanie and Shelley Hennig to come back, but I am not delusional. I know neither Stephanie or Shelley were very popular among fans. I was one of the select few that appreciated both the character and the actress, I don't think the show would see either as big get. Plus I doub't Shelley would come back she has actually bet working a lot this year. She has had three guest spots in 2014 alone in Blue Bloods, Friends With Better Lives, and Teen Wolf plus Teen Wolf invited her back to be series regular for their next season. She also has three movies coming out. I think the show is looking to get bring someone iconic back to fill the void of Sami and E.J., althoug I hardly consider Melanie or Molly Burnett to be iconic to Days. |

I would really enjoy having the Kiriakis family take the lead. Having Sonny's brothers in Salem would surely present many opportunities for drama.

I would love to see more of Victor and his one liners. I actually miss having Victor roaming around Salem. It seems like all he does now is hide in the attic.
I wouldn't mind Shawn & Belle coming back. Not so keen on Stephanie coming back. This show has enough "righteous, I'm better than you" people on here right now. I'm not sure I could handle another one. I don't want Chloe back either. I wasn't a fan of hers when she left the show the first time and the writers sealed the deal on that one when they brought her back.
Would love to have Steve come back as well. Chelsea and Max could be ok but they would have to have a dang good storyline to make me interested in them.

I LOVE Friends With Better Lives & it's a shame that isn't coming back for a second season. It seems like Shelley has had alot of luck since she left Days. I wish Jay would have had the same kind of luck. He is way too talented to not be acting |

I'd be okay if Melanie came back if it meant Philip came back. Better if Phillip and another Kiriakis cousin came back (another of Justin/Adrienne's sons) for a good old fashioned triangle. Torn between two beautiful dimpled lovers.
