1- Shawn-Douglas Brady- Bo and Hope's first-born son, he is definitely needed in Salem especially now that his father Bo isn't around, Shawn could be here for his mother Hope and his little sister Ciara but also with Shawn in town you could have Shawn become a cop and work at the Salem PD since his mother Hope is already a cop on the force and so is his Uncle Roman, Shawn could follow in the family footsteps in a sense
2- Belle Black-Brady- John and Marlena's daughter, Shawn's wife, she is definitely needed in Salem especially considering Marlena the only children she has in town are her daughter Sami and her son Eric, it would be nice if she had another one of her children in town and not to mention Belle with her back in town she could be added into the hospital scene by having Belle become a nurse on staff at Salem U Hospital which means she would be around Maxine, Jennifer, Daniel, etc.
3- Steve Johnson- Kayla's husband, ex-husband, with him back in town Kayla would no doubt be drawn to Steve again and not to mention her and Steve have a long history together, two children Stephanie and Joey, and not to mention he is Abby and JJ's uncle Jack's brother and with Steve back in town you could have him work as either a P.I. by opening his own private investigation firm or you could have Steve working for the Salem PD
4- Bo Brady- Hope's husband and Ciara & Shawn's father with him back in town Hope she and Bo could work on their marriage but also with Bo back in town you could have him back at the Salem PD but also Bo he is a Kiriakis too he is Victor's son so with him back in town you could have him and Hope as the new patriarch and matriarch
5- Peter Blake DiMera- Stefano's adopted son, Kristen's full brother, I mean when was the last time that either Kristen or Stefano mentioned Peter's name on screen or even visited him at the mental hospital? I really would like for him to return spicing things up again on Days and not to mention Peter is a DiMera so if and when EJ leaves you could have Peter take over the DiMera family
6- Arianna Hernandez- Rafe and Gabi and Dario's sister, I know she is still alive and I know one good reason it will lead to something like say her mother could have been in on it or someone else could have been in on faking Arianna's death shipping Arianna's body off to an unknown location or Arianna could have been in Witness Protection
