As the teens prepare for their high school graduation, Kinsey blabs that Will and Gabi haven't had sex. "Kinsey can be pretty gossipy and annoying," notes Camila Banus. "She blows the whole thing out of proportion and makes it a big deal." Gabi is mortified that Kinsey exposed her personal life. "Gabi wants it to be completely between her and Will," Banus explains. "But Kinsey is so caught up in their business. She knows that Will and Gabi haven't done it. Meanwhile, Kinsey has. She's been around the block a few times. Kinsey tells Gabi, 'You don't know what you're missing. You need to do this. If you haven't, that means there is something wrong with one of you.'" Thanks to Kinsey, Gabi starts feeling insecure about her romance with Will. "When Gabi was in the hospital, she worried that she was pushing Will away; suffocating him with attention," says Banus. "I think in the past, Gabi tried to hold back. She never wanted to kiss Will in front of other people. But Kinsey really pushes her to make something happen with Will." Later, Gabi comes on very strong with her beau. "She pushes harder than she's ever pushed before," previews Banus. "She tells Will, 'Let's go to the next level. We should do it right now.'" Instead, Will resists Gabi's amorous attention. "Gabi takes it personally," shares Banus. "She thinks Will doesn't want her. But she reassures Gabi and says it isn't the right time. When it happens, Will wants it to be special." At the Brady Pub, Gabi confides her troubles to Caroline. "It's a really great scene because Caroline explains to Gabi about Will's past," enthuses Banus. "He saw what his mom went through having children at a young age. Will doesn't want to make the same mistakes that his mom did. It's actually very sweet of him." Gabi updates Will on her heart-to-heart with his grandmother. "She says, 'I understand. Wow, Caroline in a supportive scene, LOL.
I'm glad that Gabi decides to give up her quest (even temporarily) to seduce boys just to fit in. What sort of message does that send to our daughters?

Maybe it's just me but I would be horrified if my boyfriend/girlfriend talked to my Grandma/Great Grandma about us having sex. Or not having it. I don't want to talk to my Grandma about sex now let alone at that age. Maybe she could have talked to Melanie or Abby. They would be better choices than Kinsey.

I'm mixed on the waiting for marriage concept. I think it's great if it's a personal choice. While I don't think that it's realistic in all situations, I also don't think that teenagers should be rushing into such things. And, definitely not by pressure from other people. It seems to be the trend lately, for girls to be pressured into bed hopping just for the sake of getting the experience over with. Men encourage their sons to have as many "conquests" as possible, and there doesn't seem to be as much value in waiting until you're with someone you trust and you want to commit yourself to.
To have sex just to say you've done it, is not the right reason. To wait and share the experience with someone is a much better reward.

I have a friend who got married at age 39. He is the only guy she has ever slept with. I am not sure that they waited until the wedding night but she waited until she was in love. I think that is awesome. But for the people who don't marry until they are 30 or older it would be difficult to wait that long. It horrifies me that the trend seems to be for teens to be FWB. That is definitely peer pressure and curiosity NOT love.

I'm disgusted by Kinsey's attitude and then Gabi's response. What a lousy way to deal with teenage sexuality. Why couldn't Gabi's answer be "Listen, you whore. We'll 'do it' when we're ready, so back theheck off." Then Gabi could TALK to Will about it and they could discuss the physical side of their relationship. Will could talk about how his mother was a teenage mother, and how hard it was for her, and how he doesn't want that for Gabi. Stupid Dena Higley. So glad she's gone.

You haven't missed it fluffy. Not sure when it airs but I'm guessing within a week or so based on the lead-time of other spoilers.
If I were Will I would have a fit that my girlfriend and grandmother were having a conversation about my sex life. Caroline knows nothing about Will's sex life or how much or how little experience he has in that arena. Now if it were Kate talking about me, I might not mind because she's way more cool than Caroline. But still. Shuddup.
