I wish I could find it in me to care, but I just don't. Right now the show is so flat that it doesn't even really phase me that actors are leaving. I hope that James can find a worthy project to work on and wish him the best of luck.

I am SO done with Days. The ONLY reason I kept watching was bc I liked James Scott and now that he is gone along with Jay, I will never watch Days again......

James chose to leave after 8 years. I don't think the show could have done anything to make him stay. With Ali Sweeney leaving and his contract up he probably felt it was the perfect time to try something new.
And with the filming schedule he will probably be on the air until August or September anyway.

Allison Sweeney was on Ellen earlier this week. I just watched it this morning. Anyway, she said she is still shooting for a few more weeks so that really makes me wonder about their exit. Doesn't sound like it's together. She may leave to join him or something. She did mention that her character doesn't die and it's left open. Maybe she does go to prison...

I'm with you kathyj. The show was around for 40 years before James Scott. I suppose EJ and Sami can ride off into the sunset together now. I am not sorry to see them go. The show made a mistake by spending so much air time on two characters. I am tired of the EJ and Sami show. Give others a chance to shine. I totally agree Kpatch! |

I've read that if they do bring EJ back, they are looking at Michael Muhuney (ex Adam Newman Y&R). He's a great actor but I can't see him playing EJ
