No plans. Hubby will be on night shift, so he'll be sleeping most of the day.

Mother's Day is nostalgic for me since my mother, grandmothers and special aunt are gone. But we have been invited to join friends for dinner so I will think about all the wonderful women in my life.

No plans that I know of. I ordered gifts for our moms today and other than that no clue what we are doing.

Mother's Day always falls in the midst of other family celebrations. As usual, we will go out for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day, my father's birthday and my parents' 54th wedding anniversary. My kids have promised to accompany me to the bookstore to purchase the DOOL Better Living book.

Hubby is going paddling Sunday morning, so I guess that means no breakfast in bed unless the kids throw a poptart at me. Lol.

Happy Mothers' Day! I had Hubby's schedule wrong, he's on day shift. So, the girls and I made blueberry muffins for breakfast.

The kids surprised me with breakfast in bed this morning and 2 new beautiful pieces of Brazilian quartz for my collection. We took a walk after breakfast and I came home to find a gorgeous Pandora bracelet on my pillow! We are heading out to the bookstore soon and then out to dinner with the rest of the family. Yes stickywicket, pet owners are mommies too!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful day! |
