The latest Soap Opera Digest has previews for May sweeps. This is taken from Daytime Royalty:

Ken Corday teases that the month kicks off with a "shocking murder", which takes place in front of a group of "potential suspects".

Additional stories covered are: (all headings SOD's)

Daniel/Jennifer - something happens that could damage their rekindled relationship.

Nicole/Eric - they decide it might be best to leave Salem together.

Hope/Aiden - Ciara makes a deal with Aiden, and Corday says that Daniel Cosgrove is a good match as Aiden [for Hope].

John/Brady/Theresa - John faces off with Theresa, since he thinks she's the source of Brady's troubles. "What happens on one night impacts a lot of people's lives for months to come."

Any guesses on who gets murdered and who does it? It sounds like everyone else sees it???

I'm think it is Nick but not sure who does it, maybe Sonny. Ooh, or maybe it's Gabi since we know she's out in May.

It's not shocking that Nick would be murdered. Assuming it's him it must be the murderer or the situation that is shocking.

I'm wondering what will happen with John/Brady/Teresa.

Dorkay Corday has a tendency to use words like shocking to get people going. What would really be shocking is if Jennifer gets killed. But I think maybe it's Gabi also, that someone is aiming for Nick, but misses. Or maybe Nick is aiming for Sami and misses, shooting his darling Gabi instead. That would be great drama! Poor Rafe, he'd lose both his sisters. This would leave Will and Sonny to raise Ari alone.

On the other hand, Liam is the one we know has the gun. Hmmm.
