I'm not certain whether this subject has been discussed on here, but I thought it might be fun. Is there a set that you miss in particular, one that you love now or one that you would like to see? What are your favourite sets(past & present)? Are there sets that you dislike or have grown tired of?
The set I miss the most is the pier. I loved the deep conversations, reunions, & heartbreak that took place at the pier. The background noise of the water and the boats were perfect, along with the fog. For an indoor set, it had a very realistic outdoor feel to it.
I also miss the loft, Marlena's penthouse (the staircase was to die for), the Cheatin' Heart(good ole' fashioned hangin' out with beers, pool and pinball) and Chris Kositchek/Mike Horton's house.
The set I like the most now is Tom & Alice's house(too many memories-a Salem staple). The set I've grown tired of is the park bench/gate area that everyone seems to spill their deepest darkest secrets and allows for eavesdropping.
I know there are budget reasons for eliminating on location filming, but I still miss that.

Great topic @dukeblue!
I miss the Titan office set for obvious reasons, the Cheatin Heart, and Maggie's house. I also miss some of those location shoots, like Chichen Itza, Switzerland and the Cruise of Deception (well, I guess the latter wasn't a real cruise ship but it was cool).

I miss most of those places but I also miss Bo and Hope's place. I always liked the decor.

I miss the Cheatin' Heart, the Pier and the Kiriakis backyard/pool. I also miss the loft apartment with the big metal door. The rooftop was a fun set too.
