A business associate visits Victor. They start talking business but the real reason for the visit comes out. Mr. Brandt disapproves of the wedding between two men. He tells Victor that their customers are big into family values and all it will take is one boycott to destroy the business. Victor tells him that this wedding is all about family values. Victor says that he is resigning from the board of directors of the company and is liquidating his stock. Maggie is outside the door cheering Victor on. Victor ushers the man out. Maggie rewards him with kisses and wants to tell Sonny what happened. Victor asks her not to -- it is Sonny and Will's day.

This scene was fantastic. I'm so proud of Victor for telling off this man and standing up for his grandson. My favorite part was when Victor said something about saying hello to the man's wife, I can't remember the name but the man corrected him, saying he was married to a new woman now.

It appeared that this Mr. Brandt was well known to both Kate and Maggie -- neither seemed to like him.

Yay Victor! But, I have to ask, do people really do business like that any more? I thought that sort of stuff died out in the 1950s

Did anyone notice Maggie's comment about Victor being "no fun" because he didn't want her to blab about his stand-up behaviour? My first thought was how typical of Maggie that was. She should have become a reporter.
