I don't know, but I read he wasn't being recast....doesn't mean he's going to be killed off, maybe he'll go off to Switzerland or somewhere for a brand new treatment......

What about the role they were casting several months ago that sounded suspiciously like Chad? Maybe they changed their mind.

Maybe his specialist was wrong and he does in fact have a brain tumour. That would definitely send both Chad and viewers for a loop. If they aren't recasting, I hope Chad at least has a dramatic exit(he could always come back from the dead later, right?)

I think the truth will come out and he will end up leaving town. I think the character has a lot of potential. The writers haven't done enough with him.
