Kristen is on the phone with Rachel’s teacher agreeing to chaperone a field trip to the aquarium. As soon as she hangs up she realizes she has no interest in hanging out with a bunch of ‘brats’. She calls Brady, who is sitting at the pub. He isn’t thrilled to hear from her. She wants him to do the field trip instead of her. Brady wants to know what the catch it. Kristen lies that Rachel wanted him to do it and this would be a good place to do it, since Brady isn’t allowed to be alone with her. Brady agrees to clear his schedule.
Kristen is on the phone attempting to set up the Li Memorial Scholarship. She pawns it off on whoever she is talking to and opens her laptop. Rachel enters with the field trip papers to sign. Kristen tells her that her daddy is going to go with her. Rachel wants to know why since Kristen doesn’t want her around her daddy. Kristen says Daddy will be around Rachel and all her friends so it will be fine. Rachel wants Mommy to come as well. Kristen points out that she and Daddy will fight about whether to see the whales or the dolphins so better off if only he goes. Rachel agrees that this would happen. Kristen says that she is working on getting along better with Brady, then ruins her sweet moment by lying to Rachel about her new ‘boyfriend’ Alex who is super cool and super fun. Rachel is unimpressed and leaves to get a cookie, reminding Mommy to sign the papers. Kristen glances at them but doesn’t sign, phones Alex instead and asks if he has plans. He said he was going to hang with Theresa but she wasn’t interested. Kristen asks him to come over.
Kristen escorts Alex into her bedroom. He is surprised to be here. She says they needed a place to talk about ‘their plan’ where they can’t be overheard. They rehash the need to make Brady and Theresa jealous. Kristen says they need to escalate things. Mom of the Year Kristen suggests that he sleeps over so Rachel can find him in bed with her the next morning, then blab to Brady about it at the field trip. Alex says so the new plan is to traumatize her child. Kristen says Rachel won’t see anything, it won’t be like some gory horror film. They will just be lying there cuddling and Rachel will have to come in to get the field trip form signed that she deliberately left blank just for this plot to work. And when he doesn’t come home Theresa will be mad with jealousy too. They can order food and stream his favourite show. Alex says that Rachel is too smart to be fooled by them ‘faking it’ (ew?) so they should do it for real. He grabs and kisses her. Kristen tosses him on the bed and has her way with him. Sleezy music is playing. It is too early in the morning for this.

The 80's cheesy inflected song " Better watch out, Better lookout" that finished the show and ran thru the credits was the highlight of the show which tells you something.
Why these two are having sex is something beyond my intellect. Weren't they "faking" the relationship?
Kristen has this Rachel angle but Alex. Another quickie, I guess.
Although they don't mix properly in the least Theresa and Alex have one thing in common. Terribly shallow opportunists. I can't wait for the day sneaky Theresa gets exposed and Alex is revealed to be Justin's son and doesn't get a bloody cent.
Kristen is sexy but her personality is just gross.

Of all the scenes that could have been done off-screen, the Kristen/Alex hookup would have been my top choice. I can't believe they even had music for it. I agree doolfan4life, it was a big fat eeew. And using Rachel as an excuse to do the deed was as low as you can go. |

I think we are supposed to deduce that all of Theresa's teasing turned Alex into a horn-dog and he would have had sex with anyone. Nancy. Leo. Julie. Anyone who was willing. Kristen is just gross. If she was irredeemable before, she's doubly so now, having sex with someone just so her daughter can witness it and blab to Brady.

Does Kristen actually want Brady back? She says so, but nothing she does seems to be in actual service of that. Maybe be nice to him and just let him see his damn daughter??

I agree mikey. All Kristen does is antagonize Brady and it is clear he has no appreciation for it. She finds it fun. He finds it hateful. She does not know him at all. |

I agree Kristin is a classic instigator and loves to create trouble
However I find Brady stupid as he always seems to take the bate
She’s a manipulator and he’s salems easiest target
