Ava is at the apartment getting ready to move out when Tripp wants to know why she is moving. She gives a reason, but he isn’t buying it and wants to know what kind of trouble she has gotten herself into. Wendy overhears and comes in wanting to know if everything is okay. Tripp says no. He wants to know why his mom wants to move out. She tells them she is not in trouble but is just moving into Brady Pub with Harris. She reassures them and walks out with a box.
After Ava leaves, Tripp admits to Wendy that he thinks his mom is in trouble, again. Wendy says that if she is, she is safer with Harris. He switches subjects and asks how her first day of work went. She said it was horrible. She kept trying to find a lead on Clyde and seeing Goldman’s desk set off a panic attach. Tripp says you are home & safe now but it might be time for her to talk to a professional.
Wendy is still worried that Ava might find trouble and can’t deal with that anymore. She talked to her dad and he sounded so much like himself. Her parents almost lost another child and she doesn’t want to put them through that again. She is tired of waiting for something to happen. He gives her a hug and says he is always there for her.

I was half hoping for her to say she regrets staying and she’s leaving Salem for real this time What a bummer

So. Very. Dull.

They didn't dull me out today. First Tripp's sustained look of disbelief at his mother moving out was kind of funny.
Once again Wendy barely had anything on but I am not complaining. I was trying to figure out Wendy's detective talk. I thought she was strictly IT but apparently, she is actively engaged in investigations. Ha.
I for one appreciate the fact she is still traumatized. That was one sick scenario.
But perhaps what stood out most was Tripp suggesting she see a "professional." Hallelujah, he didn't say Marlena. Could it be. Another shrink shows up. I know I am pinning my hopes on the slimmest clues.

Sorry writers, this is not a story. But I'm not real surprised you can't find something better for this always-dull couple.

Also, that shirt thingy Wendy was wearing was hideous and unflattering. She looked like a red rubber ball.

Looks like Marlena's going to get another new patient. More screen time for Salem's lone psychiatrist. Ugh.

Looks like Marlena's going to get another new patient. More screen time for Salem's lone psychiatrist. Ugh. They scan metropolis like scenes replete with even skyscrapers now. But wait there is only one psychiatrist in town. And by the way to be precise she SUCKS. And she is a ROYAL DRAG. Gee with all these tall buildings, one I presume representing where The Spectator office is located, has anyone ever seen an elevator on this show?

Gee with all these tall buildings, one I presume representing where The Spectator office is located, has anyone ever seen an elevator on this show? At least twice that I can think of. Before his return, Jack was assumed to have died saving Abby in an elevator shaft. Before that, Shawn and Belle were temporarily trapped in an elevator during a power outage as teens. Brady ended up rescuing them, and injured his back doing it. Also, when the nurse's desk used to be a major fixture of the show, there were often people coming out of elevators at the hospital.

I'm so sick of Wendy. She dulls EVERY. SINGLE. SCENE. I was sitting here waiting for her to tell Tripp that she can't do this, she was breaking up with him, and that she was going back to live with her parents. I knew better than to get my hopes up.
I don't care where Ava lives. Her and Tripp made it sound like she was moving out of the country and she's leaving things behind to remember her by only to reveal that she's going across town. They are acting like Tripp is the parent and Ava the teenager breaking out on her own. Dumb. Just dumb.
