I'm not paying for ad-free but today's episode had no commercials. Just wondered if anyone else had the same experience.

Not today but for me, once every two weeks or so it's ad-free. I think that Peacock randomly does that to encourage people to pay for ad-free by giving them a taste.

heroicmuse, thanks for the reply. I think this was a first for me, but it was wonderful having the show be ad free. And it did make me think about Premium Plus when my current sub runs out.

I always get ads. They may skip one in a sequence once in a while, but rest assured that "Jardiance" ad with that woman dancing around and singing as if she just won the mega-million makes an appearance nearly every episode.
I usually read something or get up to wash radishes etc. when the ads come on. I won't pay extra for ad free that is for sure.

For me there's almost always some variation of annoying insurance ads. The one where the photographer rolls their eyes because the family wants a photo by their newly insured RV is my least favorite. |
