Gordon Light foot has died at the age of 84. Gasp! He is one of my favorites. I listen to his music all the time.  I am listening to one of his songs right now |

I haven’t watched GH in decades but way back when I was a kid we used to watch it at my babysitter’s house and Bobbie was my favorite. I think she was still kind of the bad girl then, trying to hold on to Scottie or Dr. Noah Drake (Rick Springfield 🥰) but I just loved her and rooted for her. Hard to believe she was 70. Time flies.

Oh my goodness! This makes 2 in the last 6 months for GH. I've been on a GH kick for a while now and more often times than not, I've preferred it over Days. I really hate to hear this. RIP Jacklyn Zeman.

I remember watching GH off and on in the 70s and 80s and always enjoyed Jackie Zeman on the show. That is sad.

Nicolas Coster passed away at 89 on June 26. He appeared in multiple soaps most notably Santa Barbara. He played Lionel Lockridge opposite Louise Sorel's Augusta Lockridge on Santa Barbara.

Andrea Evans has died at the age of 66. She was on several soaps and played interesting characters. I watched her on the Bold and The Beautiful and One Life to Live.

Arleen Sorkin who played Calliope Jones on Days has passed away at the age of 87. ARLEEN SORKIN IN LOVING MEMORY OCTOBER 14, 1955-AUGUST, 2023 (Calliope Jones, 1984-1990, 1992, 2006, 2010) Voice actor Neil Kaplan posted on Twitter that Arleen Sorkin has passed away. She was 67. No further information is available at this time. Sorkin played the lovable Calliope Jones on "Days of Our Lives" from 1984-1990 and in return guest stints in 1992, 2006 and 2010. She was paired, for most of her run, with John de Lancie's Eugene Bradford, providing "Days" fans great comic relief during the late 1980's. The duo appeared on an episode of "The Newlywed Game" (on "Days") in 1986. Calliope memorably had her dog, Martha, have a dog wedding in 1987. Her performance in a fantasy sequence on "Days of Our Lives" in February 1989 inspired the creation of the DC comics character Harley Quinn, a role Sorkin would later voice on "Batman: The Animated Series" from 1992-1994. Sorkin co-hosted "America's Funniest People" from 1990-1992. She leaves behind her husband, Christopher Lloyd (the co-creator of "Modern Family", not the actor) and her two sons, Eli and Owen.
