Or do you? I just had my front flower beds cleaned out today and in addition to re-doing them, I’m in the mood to start getting some Fall plants and decorations, like croton and mums, etc. I live in Florida and it’s still hot and very Summery here but tomorrow is September. I’m ready for Fall!
Do you have a certain time you start decorating for Fall?

My 13 year old loves Halloween so she's eager to decorate for Fall and then add in all of the Halloween decor. We have mums planted in front of our house. I think the Fall decor will come out in the next week or two at the most.

I’m terrible I don’t really decorate
My house is too close to the road it’s basically a sidewalk and road and kids are passing all the time because of the schools
Maybe when we buildnthe new place
I decorate for Christmas inside but not outside
This year I won’t be cuz John is destructive

There are really only 2 times a year I decorate. Halloween and Christmas. Usually Oct 1st I put the halloween stuff out and then on Nov. 1st, that comes down and Christmas starts going up. Nothing gets turned on and lit up until Dec 1st, but because I have so much to put out, I have to start in November. Halloween decorating is beginning to get just as big as Christmas so I'll start pulling that stuff out and getting it up the day after Labor day. Most of my stuff is outside decor but I'm slowly adding some indoor.

I don't really decorate much. We put up some stuff for Christmas, mostly because Hubby just loves doing it, but that is about it. Between so many months being hot and being so busy with work, I just don't get in the mood. Maybe after I retire I will get more into gardening & such.

We decorate indoors not really outside. We planted a few fall blooming plants outside like mums. I like decorations indoors where we can enjoy them.

I've already started to decorate for fall as Halloween is my favorite holiday. Next wednesday here in Oklahoma it is supposed to get down into 50's during the day and the low 40's at night. Then the next day it starts warming back up again. So we will get a taste of fall but I don't mind, I am ready for some cooler weather.
