December 5
Episode 2 was great. Tons of Philip-centric flashbacks, establishing his history with Chloe, with Belle, and with Shawn. There appears to still be feelings between him and the women, and it seemed to me he was stoking the embers of jealousy in Shawn. Fun stuff. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.
Could that be Jason looking in the window?

Episode 2 I agree. I loved seeing Philip interact with everyone and them acknowledging the past. Philip also deserved to air out a bit of grievance for how much he loved both of them and their rejections. I liked the rivalry with Shawn as well. Also did my eyes deceive or during the fun montage when Philip and Chloe were sitting on the couch together, were they kissing?
I think it's Jan and Jason is just a red herring. I was reminded on another board that Jan was rich. I had completely forgotten that her family had money.

Oh, the memories! Now those are some flashbacks I could watch over and over. I think I smiled through the entire episode. I’m really enjoying this little series. I just hate waiting a whole week to get to the next one. I can’t wait to see where this goes and hope we get lots more Phloe.

A whole episode with Jay involved. How could I NOT love it??? I wasn't ready for it to end. I'm really enjoying how not everyone is all happy and fake to see everyone else. They seem to be keeping this pretty realistic so far.
When that episode was over, I noticed that there as a "Kiriakis Reunion" interview done with Lauren (Kate) and John (Victor) and Jay. I didn't realize that we had been missing Philip for 7 years. I couldn't understand why they did the history flashbacks with both Belle and Chloe (especially when they weren't done with anyone else) until they said that in the interview and then the flashbacks made sense. That was fun to watch too. Jay seemed a little nervous in it at first and Lauren did a lot of the talking but it was so cute. They were asked how they felt about a Philip return to Salem and Lauren said that her and Kate would be over the moon. John said that he would be thrilled about a Philip return as he's (Victor) "run out of fodder". It almost sounded like he was saying that they (the writers) would be fools to not bring Philip back. They did a short run of all of "Philip's women" and listed a few - not all - of the women that Philip had a relationship with and when Willow was mentioned, John looked towards someone behind the camera's and said "Who's Willow?". I was cracking up. If you get a chance, definitely check that interview out.

I loved the Philip centered flashbacks. I didn't want the episode to end either mae00. The interview makes me hopeful.

You guys are cracking me up. I am not the Philip fan you all are, but he was cute when he was younger. Yep, that is probably Jan looking in the window. I am really missing the old Mimi though in this.

I think it's crazy that even Chloe's parents are the original actors! (I'm very late to this thread, haha!)
