I'm kinda surprised he's not staying with Jen at Gran's place. But I guess he didn't want to have to see Daniel all the time.

SALEM INN
Lucas wheeled himself over to the window with the northern exposure, and gazed mindlessly toward the building across the street, a building he used to live in. The same building that Steve and Kayla lived in, and Jack and Jennifer, and Bo and Hope, and Brady and Chloe, yada yada yada. And now Sami and Rafe lived there.
Using a pair of binoculars he found in the drawer of the nightstand, Lucas could see the lobby’s elevator bank through the glass door at the lobby level of the building. He focused on the two men standing near the elevator and talking. It looked like EJ and Rafe, an unlikely pair … especially since directly across from Lucas’s hotel window on the fourth floor of the apartment bulding was Sami and Rafe’s apartment. He could see Sami at the kitchen sink and Rafe sitting on the sofa playing with Johnny. He quickly grew bored of the domestic scene and turned his attention to another window in the hotel room. The window facing east looked out over a courtyard and the architecture of the old Salem Inn was such that there were other rooms about 20 feet across the courtyard. Through the parted curtains, he could clearly see a man installing a video camera in the hotel room’s ceiling.
Lucas: That’s odd.
He watched for a while until he fell asleep in his wheelchair. His head tipped forward some time later, waking him up from sleep. He looked at the hotel room across the courtyard and saw someone who looked like Chloe taking an envelope of cash off the bed. She appeared to be counting the money.
Lucas: What the hell?
Lucas decided he was hallucinating because of the pain meds. He wheeled over to his bed, hoisted himself onto the mattress and went to sleep for the night.
Morning broke and so did the silence as he woke up to the sound of shouting coming from across the courtyard. He got into his wheelchair and hurried over to the eastern window and saw Chloe and a man with an accent shouting at each other.
Chloe: I told you I would pay you back.
Quinn: Sorry, love, too late for that. If you ever want to see your baby son again, you’ll do exactly what I say.
Chloe: I will not become one of your prostitutes.
Quinn: I’d say you already are. After all, you took money from me for sex.
Chloe: I … I …
Quinn: Do I need to show you the video again? Or should I show it to Victor Kiriakis next time?
Chloe: No, please don’t. I’m begging you.
Quinn: That’s more like it, love. Keep your phone on. I’ll call you with your next assignment.
Lucas watched Chloe leave and heard the door slam down the hall. He wheeled himself to the door of his room, opened it and glided down the hall. He looked at the room number for Quinn’s room, then wheeled himself back in. He picked up his room phone and dialed.

Wow, Salem meeds to have blinds installed on their windows.... Looks like Lucas is going to see lots of what is happening in Salem... Wonder what he will do..

Hmmmm. This sounds interesting. But did I misread something (or did Lucas just not catch on)? Didn't he see two Rafes (one by the elevator talking with EJ, the other inside the apartment with Sami and Johnny)?

Yep, I think he saw two Rafe's & due to the meds, just brushed it off. I'm sure it will come out once Sami starts complaining about Rafe not acting like himself.
