Has anyone heard of these books and the new show on Starz? I had never but there's been a lot of buzz about the show that premieres Aug. 9. There's a an article on it in the latest Entertainment Weekly. It's already available on OnDemand. I watched the first episode and I'm not sure. It kind of seemed like...historical erotica??? Apparently, the books have a huge following.

I watched the first episode and fell in love with it. I bought the book and I am getting ready to start it soon. I am going to have to wait to watch the rest of the season as I don't have Starz.

If you want the episodes let me know MrsM I can hook you up with where to watch them online. I went to a panel about this show with the author last year at comic con and I was intrigued. I had never heard of the books, which is shocking since they sold so well, but I was intrigued. I am reading the first book now, and it reminds of an EM Forster novel..a nice dense read with lots of detail. A little too much to be called a fluff read but not too clunky either. I am liking it. And Jamie on the show....    |
