For me, it almost makes him a little sexier. I like my men a little rugged. I make exceptions for a few men that are exceptionally hot. Girl I am right there with you! That is what I thought when I saw it. It adds an element of rugged on top of all that pretty. ;D |

I also want to thank thecorrecttime who helps keep an eye out for new information and pictures and alerts me whenever he finds them! He looks really good but I am still not a big fan of the facial hair on him. ... I really hope that the beard is only temporary. I think Jay looks so much better with no facial hair so that I can see his adorable face and dimples when he smiles. I think Jay's beard is expressly for his role in the picture and is a temporary thing. I agree that he looks so much better clean shaven. That face should not be covered! Even so, I am finding his scruffy look pretty darn sexy. |

I have a new BFF and it's someone who is close to the production of Runaway Hearts. They gave me some additional information about the film in general, and Jay Kenneth Johnson (formerly Philip Kiriakis) in particular. I’m going to share it here. Jay is indeed the leading man and, although there's romance, it’s a family movie, so it won’t be “smoldering.” His character is Gabe, a guy who's been fairly broken by life, but who picks himself up during the course of the story by making the choice to protect two runaway kids. My friend says that Jay is really highly regarded on set. He's doing a phenomenal job and it's obvious to everyone who works with him that he's got some serious acting chops. Word is he's been killing it. As for the beard, he wears it for most of the film and is without it for just a short time. Here’s a picture I was sent:  |
