OK, I don't mind Austin coming back, but only without Carrie. Sorry, I never saw why she was so great. Ever.

I don't hate Carrie, but Carrie and Austin's story was DONE in 2006. They rushed through about two years of story in three months in pushing them back together.
That said, I really wouldn't mind seeing Carrie on the show again, because the contrast of her being there makes Sami more of "the real Sami"...

^^If the price of having the real Sami back is Marlena and Carrie back in Salem too, I guess it's worth it. I miss her that much. And with Patrick Muldoon in the role I think I could like Austin again.
With the news of Meng as co-producer (and Tomlin not) I'm convinced that Bryan will be returning as Lucas also and I want him to have his own storyline even if it involves Carrie and Austin. Once Sami is restored I will certainly want and expect the Lumi reunion but both characters deserve good writing of their own and a well written (meaning slow) reunion.

I see Lucas bringing Allie back and then him bonding with Sami over Will's coming out. After all, wouldn't they come together over their child?

Definitely as they have remained friends... but I don't see Lucas & Sami being together anytime soon.. maybe down the line a few years?

I am with you Kazz! If they are in scenes together Ali and Bryan will bring it. Just like Nadia and Jay did even when their characters were just friends.

I absolutely agree with that Kazz. They write themselves. I also agree with fluffy that Jay and Nadia did as well. Boo I miss them.

YEAH Lucas is coming back!!! I hope the writer's give him some decent story lines this time around. He could be involved in so many... Sami & Rafe, Will & Gabi (or whoever), Jennifer & Daniel, Mommie Dearest and Stefano (after all he did work for Stefano once upon a time). I still want it to come out that he is the father of BOTH the twins, but am not holding my breath on that one!

The word on Bryan/ Lucas is not yet official. I believe there may be a bit of confusion over a new SOD article confirming Dario's departure. A statement from that actor is that he has heard that Bryan is one of the returns. I think the fact that a current cast member said this in a SOD article made it sound official but it isn't (yet at least) - the actor is only stating his speculation not speaking on behalf of Days.
There is a LOT of speculation everywhere that Bryan is one of the returns and I personally think he will and should be one... but as of now there is no official confirmation.
