So now Philip has read Brady the riot act about taking over Titan too. I don't get all this animosity towards Brady and what he did. He basically saved Titan. I applaud what he did. Now, I can understand why Victor would be ticked off and yeah, Maggie is a little miss do-gooder so I can understand her disappointment. But geez, Philip acts like Brady just handed Titan over to the DiMera's or something. I know Brady is kind of a drunk and has taken a dark turn but IMO he did the right thing to make sure there was no more funny business with Vivian. He pulled a total Victor move and I'm hoping eventually Victor admits that is a good thing.

I understand what you're saying, but Titan really is Victor's company and Brady should hand it back to Victor. Philip is also the heir apparent and successor to Victor, so by taking the company from Victor, Brady is depriving Philip of his birthright.
In addition, this is all very out of character for Brady. If Stefano or Kate did this, everyone would nod and say "oh, okay, I'm not surprised they would do that." I believe it is this character shift that has everyone so rattled.

I'm not mad at Brady, Sparkster and I admit that this take charge Brady is a welcome improvement I know this is Victor's company, but Victor has been too busy to run it, I also think that without TItan, VIctor is free to pursue Maggie, so maybe he should be grateful.

Yeah, I see what you're saying patch. The thing is, even though it's Victor's company and what Brady did was definitely underhanded, I think it was a very smart move. Victor has supposedly stepped back and every time he tries to hand over the reins it seems like he's still micromanaging and doesn't like the decisions Philip or Brady make re: Titan.
It would have been interesting if Brady and Philip together would have colluded to take control of Titan. That could have been fun. Unfortunately Philip has all sorts of personal and marital issues to tend to and in the words of Victor is too busy populating the world. ;D I'm thinking this storyline would have been so much more interesting if we had the Titan sets back. Gosh I miss those days...

I completely understand why Victor & Philip are mad. They should be mad, it would be out of character for either not to be. However, I'm still glad Brady did it. I have no reason to be mad at him (it's not like I was ever in line to inherit Titan) and I'm just glad to see Days doing a hostile business takeover type of story.

I'm glad to see Philip siding with his father for a change.

I wonder how Isabella would feel about what Brady has morphed into. This is what shocks me... She visits him about Vivian in the sarcophagus story and tried to get him to see how wrong he was, but he goes & continues being this uncaring person.
Not that it bothers me... I believe under that gruff exterior is still the sweet caring Brady anyay.

With Victor, it's his company and he feels betrayed. He took Brady in, blah blah. I can see him being mad.
Maggie is fond of Victor and is watching Brady's alcoholism enable his self-destruction.
Phil is mad because Victor is his papa and he's got this overwhelming sense of loyalty. He can do wrong by his dad, but don't you dare do wrong by his dad.
I was hoping that with Brady managing Titan, that Basic Black and the DiMera Enterprises would focus on workplace drama rather than who's romping with whom.

I think this storyline has incredible potential. I wish they would focus on it a little more than some other stories (i.e., Rafe and EJ). I'd like a little more balance in stories.

Amen to that! It seems like EJ and/or Rafe/Rafe2 are on everyday and yet we just get snippets of Brady's story or Bo and Hope. And then it just feels like there's no continuity to their storylines when they're only on 1 or 2 days a week. We definitely need some balance.

In the old days, it always seemed that there were MWF storylines (the most prominent ones) and the TTh storylines. I sure wish they'd go back to that. I love me some EJ, but I'd be happy with MWF instead of everyday. When Chloe moves into Chez Kiriakis, and Philip leaves town, I think this is going to set everything up for a Broe vs Bricole and Ejole vs. Ejaylor ( ). <--- sorry , but that still sounds funny.
