So what is Kate going to tell Lucas to make him drop everything and get Allie out of Salem?
Is this the show's attempt to redeem EJ?
Couldn't they at least have shown Lucas on the other end of the line? We got that lame phone conversation between Sami and Carrie last week, and they actually showed Carrie. I would have been okay with an old clip of Lucas on the phone.

Totally agree... Too bad they can't just have him come on like Julie & Doug. When they are on it is a true treat.
I just think she has to say it has to do with the DiMera's and that should be enough for Lucas.
I am still learning this forum... can you put spoilers on this thread?

I was just a little worried at first that Kate wasn't going to take EJ seriously....she was like, "oh, yeah right"....I figure if a DiMera is frantically telling me to get my granddaughter out of the country, I would be half way to the airport with said grandchild in tow.......get on the plane, and then figure it out.......

I am just as disappointed as you jkjpatch. Thought the Carrie shot was totally off the canvas as far as storyline or character was concerned. The writers must have hear how stupid it is that Sami has no one in her family to support her after all of the Johnny?Sydney stuff and decided to give us a "safe" show of family support. As for Lucas, I think that they are trying to make Stefano look like he's trying to do right by Kate more than anything else. I don't think this is for EJ's redemption, but to keep Kate and Stefano as a package deal.

That's what I'm hoping too addicted! Do you think TPTB are clever enough to come up with some scheme where they bring Lucas back but are somehow able to keep it a complete secret, like maybe Bryan Datillo has been asked back but they have him going to and from the set in disguise and have all the cast and crew sworn to secrecy so as not to let the cat out of the bag? Wouldn't that be awesome!  |

That's a hilarious scenario. I could just see Bryan going for it with his sense of humor. That is something I would like to see as "The Making of Lucas's Secret Return" as a documentary. LOL. Great idea.

I don't think this is for EJ's redemption, but to keep Kate and Stefano as a package deal. Well that would definitely fit better. Can I just say that Allie wouldn't be in danger to begin with if it wasn't for EJ's own plans. It's his usual M.O., just like when he kidnaped Sami so the twins could be cut out of her and then acted like he was concerned and trying to "protect" her from the "bad Dimeras" when he was the one who brought her there in the first place. I'm just glad to know that little Allie will be safely away from all the craziness in Salem, getting lots of love and attention from her daddy. |

Sparkster, your secret scenaario is such a cool idea! Maybe now that we have hope that there is someone out there listening to us after firing one of the writers, perhaps the show will take a new (old) direction. I can see nothing but positives form bringing Lucas back. He could be involved in all the storylines. It would be so much more interesting to have Kate and Stefano as a couple with Lucas IN the picture.
I dare say nothing will happen to Allie. They will never EVER find a way to redeem EJ if one of the children is actually hurt in the process.
