I'm not surprised. A little disappointed, certainly, but surprised, no.
It's bittersweet actually. I mean, I love Chloe and hate what they've done to her this time around. The prostitution thing...really?
I can only hope they exit her character with class and dignity (and yeah, a happy ending with Phil off screen).
Re: Taylor and Quinn...well, Quinn had potential, and Taylor I'm not sad to see go.
Though, for the three actors themselves, I'm wishing them well in their future endeavors.

@gg - I'm sure they are still making cuts because what those 3 would have been paid would not completely cover the "big returns" that are still being speculated. I'm sure Dario will be gone as well before we know it.....

I'm sure Dario will be gone as well before we know it..... I agree. If the other returns are truly "big" ones then they do have to cut more costly current cast members to offset the cost. Tamara Braun has been in the business a long time so she and Nadia may both be comparably priced to some "bigger" potential vet returns. I don't know much about the other actor but I thought he was brand new to the soap world and probably is a lesser paid one. He is so new that he may not even count in the 6 that are supposed to be exiting. I'm not at all surprised by the Quinn, Taylor cuts. I wasn't expecting the Chloe news though. Edited to Add: Thanks for posting this information Karebr. Since it didn't have any specific spoiler news in it, I moved it to this forum.

So far the only returns that we know about are Jack, JOhn and Marlena. Any one hear anything about more vets returning? I am curious to know who.

Not a huge shock on any of these fronts. In fact I'm overjoyed at the news that Taylor and Quinn will be off my TV soon! Hooray! I'm sad about Chloe leaving but I kinda had a feeling that Nadia would opt out. They've treated her character horribly so I really can't blame her. I'm sure she'll do fine with whatever she pursues post-Days. I really hope they give her a great exit story and it would be awesome if JKJ could come back for a short stint and the two work out their differences and then leave Salem together to be a family with Parker. THAT would be wonderful.

I'm really glad that it was Nadia's decision to leave. See, that pilot she was working on may have been picked up. But it seems like she's involved in a lot of projects. I predict she will be a smashing success.
@sparky, from your lips to the soap gods' ears! I am sad that I will probably never have Phloe onscreen now, but a small crumb would be like chicken soup for my Phloe soul.

I am 100% convinced NBC doesn't care about Days Of Our Lives or it's fans and is destroying Days on purpose in order to lose fans so they can cancel Days!!!!

I am 100% convinced NBC doesn't care about Days Of Our Lives or it's fans and is destroying Days on purpose in order to lose fans so they can cancel Days!!!! Well on the Nadia front I would agree, but that was her decision not the show's. But I guess it could be argued that the show's crappy writing was her reasoning to leave, and in that way be its fault for her departure. But when you have the option to do a movie, pilots, etc... the future seems more promising than one on a sinking ship - like a daytime drama. The genre is dying, and I think that was probably a factor in Nadia's decision too. Corday seems to be genuinely fighting for this show in his returning both Jack and Jarlena. I'm optimistic for the future of the show, even if it means no more Nadia. I will miss her truly, and I'm hoping to go they give her a good exit, like Philip coming back for her to reunite with her and become a family with Parker.

I'm glad Nadia's leaving. She deserves better than what she's been given in the last year.PPD was great, but the writers carried it too far.I know she'll be successful in whatever she chooses to do next.

The news is like the good (Taylor out), the bad (Chloe out) and the meh (Quinn out).
I was very happy to see that Nadia made the decision, because she is as good as she ever was, but her SLs have been less than awesome. How many times can you cheat on your significant other and try to hide it. I am going to miss her acting and her outfits, and I have a feeling my fiance will miss her cleavage.

The positive side to Chloe leaving is that if they in fact do do this prostitution storyline,it'll be done quickly.Heck, maybe we have it all wrong and they use the prostitution story to bring Quinn down, therefor Chloe gains self confidence because she had a hand in bringing down a scumbag and Chloe gets her happy ending.
