So, there was a Sherlock special on New Year's Day. It was called The Abominable Bride. Anyone here see it? You know it!!! I had forgotten there were other Sherlock fans here, otherwise I would have posted about it. I absolutely L-O-V-E-D it. It felt like good 'ole Sherlock and it was just fantastic. It felt like getting a small bite of bread and I'm a starving idiot. I sat there and grinned like a fool for the entire 90 minutes.

I loved it too!! I liked the shifting from the present to the past and back. One of my favorite movies is "Time After Time" with Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. McDowell plays HG Wells - he uses his time machine to chase Jack the Ripper into the 20th century. I like seeing the character out of his time and trying to figure out the new reality.

I loved The Abominable Bride! It was a fun peek into the past, a teaser for the new season (whenever that will be) and answered a tiny bit of info in regards to Moriarty. It was fun seeing the characters in the same, but different, roles of the past.

rockfordfosgate - The new season is scheduled for 2017. They're still writing it, I believe.
The wait continues. *SIGH*
