Anyone watch the BBC's version of Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman? I started watching it last week and I can't get enough of it! I'm only about halfway through Series Two at the moment (the specific episode is "The Hounds of Baskerville"). It is such a cool series! So, I know Series Three has started on the BBC, but is it available to watch in America yet?

Sherlock, you say? It's ok. Actually, IT'S ONLY THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I am a MAJOR Sherlock fan. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently on Netflix (I believe) and Season 3 is airing in England right now. Each season has 3, 90-minute episodes, and then there's a horrendous 2 year wait till the next season, so it makes us fans pretty crazy. But each season is well worth the wait. It will air in America on PBS (not BBCAmerica) starting Jan 19th for 3 Sundays in a row. If you have ANY questions about the show, I am more than happy to answer them.

I'm glad to see that there's a Sherlock fan on here to help me through the show. Still on "The Hounds of Baskerville" at the moment. I find it hilarious that Jim from IT is Moriarity. I know he was in the first five minutes of Series Two, does he appear any more in this series? I've gotten hooked on this show. It's awesome!!

If so, you'll have to wait till The Reichenbach Fall to see Moriarty again, but you'll certainly see him there. If you started with Series Two, GO BACK AT ONCE AND WATCH SERIES ONE BEFORE REICHENBACH!!!! It is essential. Then, by the time you're done, you'll be ready for Series 3. Well, you're never REALLY ready, but you'll see. Keep in mind there are nearly 2 years between series. And the crazy starts......NOW.

Yeah, I've watched Series One. I was hooked within the first few minutes of A Study in Pink (the pilot episode). You're right, it is essential viewing for the rest if the series. I can't believe they make you wait two years between series! Then again, doesn't one of the guys who writes Sherlock also write Doctor Who?
So far, The Great Game, which is Moriarity's introduction, has been my favorite. Particularly the pool scene.

Without giving too much away (for those that haven't seen it yet), I agree. TGG was excellent. Series 3 has been soooooooo good that I'm having trouble picking a favorite. And yes, I livestream it. I couldn't wait another second to see it.

Oh, DD, I've been very tempted. But I've binge-watched too many shows lately and I want to do the whole waiting and anticipating thing a bit longer. For now, I'll just rewatch the first two seasons a couple more times. Maybe I can convince Hubby to watch. I know he would love it, but he complains he doesn't have time to spend getting involved in watching something new. I keep telling him, "It's only 6 episodes! You got time for that if you can watch 3 reruns of The Big Bang Theory every single night! Geez!" LOL!

I keep telling him, "It's only 6 episodes! You got time for that if you can watch 3 reruns of The Big Bang Theory every single night! Geez!" LOL! He certainly does have time for that. One episode of Sherlock takes just about the same time as three of Big Bang Theory do. Episodes of Sherlock are approximately an hour and a half. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for Series Three, but I think the first episode has been partially spoiled for me. Somebody posted a pic of Sherlock and Moriarty kissing on Facebook. I certainly hope that that isn't a huge spoiler for Series Three.
