Oh my, no. Sorry to confuse. His wife is whoever his wife is, but not Teresa. I just wanted to give the producer a taste of his own "medicine."

I would love to see Anne and Lucas get together. I see it as a Taming of the Shrew type story.

Thanks for clearing that up Kpatch! since his wife was never mentioned before (not that I remember anyway), I just assumed that no one would have him.

Chapter 11

The Kiriakis Mansion


Brady answers the doorbell.

Brady: Dad!
John: Son.
Brady initiates an embrace and John hugs him tightly.
Brady: Come on in. Have a seat. Tell me, Dad, when did you get back?
John: As soon as I heard what happened at your wedding, I knew I had to be here to support my family.
Brady: Have you seen Marlena?
John: I have.
Brady: She’s a wreck. She’s devastated that she played a part in Eric’s fall from grace, and that the attack on Eric was all about getting revenge on Marlena.
John: I know it. And I have to tell you that I’m not too happy with your grandfather right now. Where is he?
Brady: He went to see Maggie. Did you know she walked out on him?
John: I didn’t, but I’m not surprised. Nor am I sympathetic. He deserves what he gets.
Brady: You could say the same thing about me.
John: Brady, no. You don’t deserve this.
Brady: Don’t I? You warned me. Hell, everyone in this town warned me about Kristen, but I was too stubborn and egotistical. I was sure I knew better than anyone else. I was so sure she’d changed and I believed I was the only one who knew the real Kristen, who saw her real heart and soul.
John: You still love her, don’t you.
Brady: That’s a laugh. No. No, I don’t love her. I don’t have one shred of warm feelings for her. She killed all that when I learned what she did to Eric, a good, kind, godly man who never did a thing to her. And that soul of hers? Nothing but blackness and evil. Man am I stupid.
John: That’s a fact.
Brady: Dad! Where’s the support and empathy you came here to bestow on the family?
John: I’m here, aren’t I? Son, I will support you to the day I die, but I’m not going to coddle you or pretend you’re an innocent in all this. You should have known better. 90,000 Salemites can’t be wrong. Even Sami has her moments when she’s right.
Brady: You’re right. I should have listened. From here on out, I swear that I will listen to the voices of reason. I won’t be so arrogant to believe I know better. I know one thing for sure.
John: What’s that, son?
Brady: I’m never falling in love again. I give up.
John: You don’t mean that.
Brady: Wanna bet? Look where love has gotten me so far.
John: True. I agree that you’ve been unlucky in love so far. But that’s not a reason to give up. Don’t let what happened with Kristen destroy your whole future. You’re going to find love when you least expect it. So keep an open heart, Brady. I promise it’ll be worth it.

Chapter 12

Near the Nurse’s Station

JJ: Teresa! I need to talk to you.
Teresa: I can’t. I’m busy.
JJ: It’s important. I heard ... um ... I heard you’re pregnant.
Teresa: What??? Where the hell did you hear that?
JJ: It doesn’t matter. What matters is ... well, is it true?
Teresa: Aunt Kayla told you, didn’t she?
JJ: No. But you just confirmed it.
Teresa: Go to hell.
Teresa starts to turn away and JJ grabs her arm.
Teresa: Let me go. This is none of your business.
JJ: Do you know who the father is?

Teresa: How dare you even ask me that. Of course I know.
JJ: Who? Who is it?
Teresa: Like I said, it’s none of your damn business.
JJ: It is so my business. You need to tell me who’s the father.
Teresa: Who do you think? It’s Daniel.
JJ: No. It can’t be.
Teresa: What do you mean it can’t be. You know nothing about this.
JJ: I know more than you think I do.
Teresa: Oh no. Just what I needed. Your mother.
JJ: Excuse me??
Teresa: Your mother is lurking by the elevator. I can’t be seen talking to you.
JJ: Then let’s meet up somewhere. We need to talk.
Teresa: No we don’t. Get lost, JJ.

Teresa rushes away and Jennifer walks over to JJ.


Jennifer: I saw you talking to Teresa. What were you two talking about?
JJ: Nothing.
Jennifer: It wasn’t nothing, JJ. I know what you were talking about.
JJ: You do?
Jennifer: Yes, and I think it’s really sweet.
JJ: Um. Sweet?
Jennifer: Yes. You were telling her that she should be nicer to me, weren’t you?
JJ: Um. Yeah, mom, that’s what I was telling her. I’m always talking about you to people.
Jennifer: I guess you heard that she’s pregnant.
JJ: Yeah, sort of.
Jennifer: And the baby is Daniel’s.
JJ: You don’t really believe that, do you, Mom?
Jennifer: I most certainly do. Daniel is pond scum. Everything I always heard about him being an uncaring womanizer who bed-hops from one woman to the next ... it’s all true.
JJ: Then why would he date you?
Jennifer: What??
JJ: I mean, his reputation, well, that’s ancient history. You guys had a real relationship for a while. I think he really loves you.
Jennifer: Oh JJ, you’re so young and naive. Let’s go home and decorate the house.
JJ: But it’s not a holiday.
Jennifer: In Alice’s home, you’re never more than a few weeks away from an excuse to hang balls. Come on.
JJ: But it’s only 10:00 a.m. It’s the middle of your workday.
Jennifer: I put in a good hour. That’s plenty. Let’s go home.

I think this Jennifer really has lost her marbles...I wonder if Theresa will tell JJ the truth.

I kinda hope Theresa will tell J.J. the truth, though I doubt it. Wow! This Jennifer is even crazier than the one on the show. I gotta say, this story is hilarious! Great story, Kpatch! I can't wait for more!
