Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks off. Are you starting to plan? Shop? Invite? Are you hosting or are you going somewhere? Bringing a dish?
We are hosting as we always do. Ron will do the majority of the cooking. I'm responsible for the appetizers, buffet table, decor and tablescapes, and of course cleaning. We're having about 8 people.

Sounds nice Kpatch. We will spend the day with my dad, stepmom and my aunt. And possibly my aunt's boyfriend. We will make a dish or two. Not sure what dishes yet. I will have to coordinate that with my parents and my aunt.

This year we are going to my parents and my grandpa will be up for Thanksgiving for the first time. Ever. I have never spent a holiday with him. I think it will be nice to be able to spend it with him this year.

The usual. just the 3 of us..hubby, me & our dog Rambo. We have already ordered a fully cooked smoked turkey so I just have to make some sides. Probably some potato dish & a veggie..Then it's just football all day!!

I can not believe that Thanksgiving is only a week away. Where has the time gone??!! I only have Thursday off, so I am going home to my parents for the day and heading back that evening. My brother has a new girlfriend, that he met on match.com, and I think she will spend Thanksgiving with us!! My parents haven't met her yet,but they are excited to meet her. She is really sweet. It's just gonna be me, my parents, my brother, & his girlfriend. Maybe next yr I will have someone to bring to Thanksgiving lol

We have no idea yet. Usually we go to my parents' house for dinner, but Hubby mentioned something about maybe trying to get together with his sister and her family, so I don't know.

Seems like this picture is appropriate for this thread. Our neighbor has several turkeys and a few of them seem to make it over the fence almost every day. This one was right outside our back door.

I see wild turkeys almost every time I take Liam to school. The darn things are so dumb. They stand right in the middle of the road and don't move. I told Liam I was gonna make one Thanksgiving dinner. Lol.

Well, we're either going to Hubby's sister's house or they're coming here. I wish they'd get it figured out so I know if I need to clean house or not.

I have yet to order my Thanksgiving turkey - I don't cook the turkey, but I make my own sides - I guess I better do that before I head out of town. Or we will be eating pizza for dinner.
