SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL By now, NicDevil was lying on a bed, tied down by ropes and chains. Everyone who had been in on the plan was there. Kayla was checking Nicole's body. ERIC: Is she okay, Aunt Kayla? KAYLA: Yes, she'll be fine. A small bump on the head, but nothing severe. Nothing that would cause any damage. ERIC: Very well. Shall we begin? MATT: I feel we should. JOHN: Ready when you are. KAYLA: We're all set. Kayla walked over to the door. ERIC: Please follow along in the packets I gave you and respond accordingly. Eric made the sign of the cross, first over himself, then over Nicole, and then over everyone else gathered there. ERIC: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. ALL: Amen. ERIC: John, the water, please. John brought a goblet of holy water over. Eric put his hand in and sprinkled the water on himself, Nicole, and the rest of the group. ERIC: Lord, have mercy. ALL: Lord, have mercy. MATT: Christ, have mercy. ALL: Christ, have mercy. ERIC: Lord, have mercy, ALL: Lord, have mercy. MATT: Christ, hear us. ALL: Christ, graciously hear us.
