Before he left Salem, Philip asked Melanie not to say anything to anyone, and she does, after all, want him to find the baby.

Maybe pretending they are married will make it all come rushing back to him

That is what I am thinking playing as a married couple will bring memories back to Philip. Is it tomorrow yet??? I am anxious for the next chapter.

BELIZE, THE HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR’S OFFICE
Philip and Chloe are seated in Mrs. Jones’s office waiting for her to arrive. Philip is wearing glasses and a baseball cap. He didn’t shave and has more facial hair than usual, in an effort to disguise himself. Chloe is wearing eyeglasses and her hair is pulled back.
Chloe: I’m nervous. Philip takes Chloe’s hand. Philip: Don’t be. You’ll be fine. I’ll distract you with scintillating conversation. Chloe: Very funny. Philip: Actually, there is something I’ve been meaning to ask you. Chloe: What is it? Philip: You told me you changed Wesley’s name. It was originally Parker, right? Chloe: Yes. Philip: Why did you change it?
Chloe has a flashback to before she and Philip got married. ***FLASHBACK*** SALEM CITY PARK Chloe and Philip are sitting on a park bench. Parker is in Philip’s arms. Chloe: I’ve been thinking ... Philip: Good. I usually like the way you think ... He smiles and leans over and kisses her ... among other things. Chloe: What would you say if I told you I wanted to change the baby’s name? Philip: Why? Chloe: Because ... someday he’s going to ask why I named him Parker and I’m going to have to tell him that it was my ex-husband’s mother’s maiden name. Philip: Ha. I see what you’re saying. What name did you have in mind, sweetie? Chloe: I don’t know. I thought we could decide together. Philip: That sounds great. Chloe: Which reminds me, I need to call Nancy and Craig later. I’ve sort of been putting off telling them about us. Philip: They haven’t been my biggest fan. Chloe: That’s because they don’t know the man you’ve become. Philip: Hey, I just thought of the perfect name for the baby! ***END OF FLASHBACK***
Philip: Why did you change his name? Chloe: Well, Wesley is my parents’ last name, and Parker was Daniel’s mother’s maiden name and after we ... um ... The name Wesley just suited him better than Parker. The hospital administrator enters the room and sits down at her desk. Mrs. Jones: Mr. and Mrs. Parker, is it? We don’t handle adoptions here. Philip: We were hoping you might point us in the right direction. Chloe: After all, babies are born here all the time, right? Mrs. Jones: You are looking to adopt a caucasian baby boy, correct? Chloe: That’s right. Mrs. Jones: You’ve come to the wrong place. Philip: Mrs. Jones, wait. Philip puts his arm around Chloe. My wife and I have been trying to have a baby for a long time. We finally decided to adopt and ... Mrs. Jones [getting irritated]: I’m sorry you took the trouble to come here. You wasted your time, and now you’re wasting mine. Good day. Chloe: Wait. We have money. We’re willing to pay. Money is no object. Philip: Let’s not get carried away, sweetie. Chloe: Don’t you sometimes hear of babies in need of adoption? Mrs. Jones: Well yes, sometimes. Philip: Here, I’ll write down a phone number where you can reach us. If you hear of anything, we’d be grateful if you’d let us know. Philip hands Mrs. Jones a piece of paper with a phone number, along with a folded $100 bill.
To be continued on Monday ...

Only 100 dollars. Boy it takes more then that here. LOL. There was just a big article in the newspaper about patinets paying doctors to get put up higher on the waiting list. Hope Mrs. Jones does not call the cops about the bribe. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Hope we are having previews for next week. Pretty please with a kiss and a hug.

I am not sure how you did but I can see the scene in my mind even picturing Mrs Jones...I hope this works, but I am not sure how this will help find Parker. I don't believe Kate & Vic gave Parker to Viv for adoption.. Would they really want to give up their grandchild that way?
I am probably though just having another brain fart......

Sportsgirl...I don't think they would've given the baby up for adoption, but Viv and Gus might be able to be bought for the right price! And I'm sure Mrs. Jones knows how to get in touch with them as I'm sure Wesley was in the hospital for a little bit after the explosion.

It looks like maybe Philip is starting to put things together and maybe the continued time together will restore his memory too. Great Chapters!!

They will have to hide for their lives forever!!! But something tells me they may be stupid enough to do just that!

Mrs. Jones may have been put off a little due to the fact that Phillip had no shirt on.
