I wish they'd bring back nap time for the workplace. We have some cranky buggers in the office after lunch (myself included).

First off I have to comment that you all crack me up. I love the hourglass option after 10,000. That was/is a Great idea lol I never use the home page. I always go straight to the newest threads page. Then I try to comment on everything that has a "new" button next to it. Sometimes it takes about an hour to catch up but that's what I use 1st period for. Just don't tell the kids. Lol I have to laugh. When I first started coming to the hourglass I always went to the ten most recent posts. It was starting to annoy me that I always had to look in threads to see if something new had been posted, if they were older then the ten most recent Lol. About a month later I discovered the new topics page. Hahaha Now I hardly ever see the main home page. I live in the new topics page.

The home page is only used when starting a new thread...

I still use the home page. I am old school like that. Lol. I like that it takes me to the newest post and I don't have to scroll. When I use the new topics it takes me to the beginning of the thread and then I have to wade through everything to get to the new posts.

If you click on the "new" button, it should take you to the newest posts. Sometimes if my mouse isn't in JUST the right spot, it just opens on page one, but then I click the last page and figure out what's new. Hope that helps.

OMG I didn't know you could hit the new button! I am always struggling to hit the page number that I want to go to. The new button makes it so much easier! Thanks for the pointers guys LOL

Guess what. I didn't know that either. That's such a cool feature. You can just click the little New button and that takes you directly to the first unread post. I will have to add that the instructions in the About Us section. Love ProBoards. They have thought of everything.
Thanks SG for pointing out that great tip!

I wish they'd bring back nap time for the workplace. We have some cranky buggers in the office after lunch (myself included). You'd like Mexico then...SIESTAS. When I went to Cancun even the banks closed for a few hours after lunch. Just like Vegas...what happens in Cancun stays in Cancun!! LOL Don't tell my hubby I said that! LOL He wasn't there!

^^ I've never been to Cancun but I've been to Cozumel several times and love it! It's my favorite vacation spot!
I want to tell you all how much I enjoy this thread and not just because it is hysterical, but because it is all just so typical of how supportive you all are to each other all the time over even the simplest things. I don't have sufficient words to explain how much I/we appreciate all of you for many things but mostly for how kind you all are to one another.
