Actor's Pick 2 - To Steal a Baby? TAYLOR: Hi, I'm Taylor Sprietler and I play Mia. For my actor's pick, I chose a scene from Adventures in Babysitting (read here: myhourglass.proboards.com/thread/1733/adventures-babysitting). In the scene, Mia and Will discuss their plan to steal Mia's baby, and almost go through with it. Here's the extended version of that scene. WILL: So, I know it’s been a while since we’ve talked about this, but when do you think we should put the final phase of the plan into action? MIA: Wow, either I’m out of it or I have a really bad memory. What was the last phase of our plan? WILL: You know…taking your baby back. MIA: Oh, yeah. That. Well, we could do it tonight, I guess. WILL: Okay. Go get the baby. MIA: Yeah, I will. So, Mia went back upstairs to get her baby. On the way, she saw a picture of E.J., Nicole, and Sydney. They looked so happy. They were a happy family. Mia went into the baby’s room, went to pick her up, and stopped. She just stopped and stared at the sleeping child. She looked so peaceful when she slept, like an angel. And it was all because of E.J. and Nicole. Because Nicole had adopted Sydney, and took care of her as though she were her own child. MIA: Great. Now what? Either I take Sydney with me now and never look back, or I leave Sydney here. Here with E.J. and Nicole. I mean, I know Nicole and I don't get along very well, but she does love Sydney. And so does. E.J. It would be wrong of me to take Sydney away. Especially E.J. and Nicole can give her the life I want for her. A few minutes later, Mia came back downstairs and sat down next to Will. The baby was not with her. WILL: Where’s the baby? MIA: Where she belongs. Sleeping in her crib, in her house. WILL: What do you mean? I thought you wanted to get her back. MIA: I did. But…but lately I’ve seen her and E.J. and Nicole…and their all so happy together… WILL: Hey. You’re crying. Sweetheart, what’s wrong? MIA: I can’t do it, Will. I can’t take that baby away from E.J. and Nicole. They can give her the life I’ve always wanted for her, the life I wish I had had growing up. They love Sydney so much, and Sydney loves them. They’re a family, and I can’t just rip them apart. I love Sydney too much to do that. Ugh! A few days ago, everything seemed so clear to me, and now I just feel so messed up. What’s wrong with me, Will? Will put his arms around Mia and held her as she cried into his shoulder. WILL: Ssh. It’s okay. Everything will be all right. Nothing’s wrong with you. You just want what’s best for your daughter, and you know that having her stay with E.J. and Nicole is what’s right. MIA: Yeah. It’s what’s best for the baby. Will, I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I got you caught up in this mess. I’m sorry I almost had you help me steal a baby. WILL: Hey, I love you. And, I would do anything for you. You don’t have anything to be sorry for. If you ever have a problem, I want to be here for you, to help with your problem. MIA: Thank you so much, Will. You are the best boyfriend any girl has ever had. WILL: And you are the most amazing, wonderful girlfriend any boy has ever had. MIA: I love you. WILL: I love you, too. Will held Mia for a while longer. Mia felt better now that the problem had been resolved…or at least, mostly... |

Actor's Pick 3 - Evil Cassie THAAO: Hello, I'm Thaao Penghlis and I play both Tony and André DiMera. For my actor's pick, I chose a scene which had a nice chunk cut out of it. The scene were we find out that Cassie is working with André. This scene, for me at least, made Cassie so much more interesting. Alexis (Thorpe) did a spectacular job with it. I hope you enjoy this. DIMERA MANSION André poured a drink. When Cassie wasn't looking, he slipped a pill into it. As soon as the pill dissolved, he turned around and handed Cassie the drink. CASSIE: I'm a little surprised to see you. ANDRE: Really? Why's that? CASSIE: I'd heard several years ago that you died in an accident on the Salem Pier. ANDRE: Well, as you can see, my dear, I am very much alive. So, darling, what are you doing back in Salem? Cassie took a big drink. CASSIE: I thought you would have heard by now. ANDRE: Heard what? CASSIE: Roman...my dad was murdered about a week ago. Cassie downed the rest of her drink. ANDRE: Oh, I'm so sorry. André and Cassie shared another hug. Cassie's eyes went dark. ANDRE: I'm assuming you know what happens now? Cassie refilled her drink and chuckled a dark, evil chuckle. CASSIE: Of course. But, who do I frame this time? ANDRE: We'll worry about that later, my dear. For now, I wish to celebrate having my favorite pawn back. André and Cassie both chuckled, then they clinked their glasses together. CASSIE: It was so easy getting rid of Roman and frame Jeremy Horton for it. A genius idea on your part, Father. ANDRE: Well, people are starting to get suspicious. We must never let them know our little secret. CASSIE: Who would I tell? The Bradys all think I'm on their side, but, as you know Father, I swore my allegiance to you many years ago. ANDRE: Indeed. So, work to do. I was thinking Carrie should be next. She was close to Roman and is back in town for his funeral. CASSIE: I've got the perfect idea for how to do it, Father. ANDRE: What do you suggest? CASSIE: Have you ever heard of the Legend of the Lover's Lane Killer? André put a hand on Cassie's cheek. ANDRE: That's my girl. I like it. CASSIE: I'll do it at the funeral. They'll never see it coming. |

Actor's Pick 4 - Shawn-D vs Philip JAY: Hey, I'm Jay K. Johnson and I play Philip. And when I was asked to pick my favorite scene hat got cut, I instantly knew hat it was going to be. This was supposed to be a scene in Eclipse of the Heart (read here: myhourglass.proboards.com/thread/1318/eclipse-heart), but for some reason, it got cut. I don't know if it was for timing or what, but it did. In this scene, Philip and Shawn-D have a fight on the basketball court. Oh, and ladies, just to give you fair warning, there are two shirtless men in this scene. Enjoy. BASKETBALL COURT Philip was standing on the court, shooting a few hoops. He had his shirt off. After a few minutes, Shawn-D arrived. SHAWN-D: Got your text. PHILIP: Good. Wasn't sure if you were gonna make it. Shawn-D took off his own shirt. Philip tossed him the ball. SHAWN-D: So, what's this all about? PHILIP: Didn't expect you'd know. Shawn-D tossed the ball to Philip. The two started a game. SHAWN-D: What's that supposed to mean. PHILIP: You've been acting really stupid lately, Shawn. Even moreso than normal. Leaving Belle and Claire, sleeping with Jan Spears. SHAWN-D: Technically, Belle left me and took Claire. PHILIP: It takes two to agree that it's over. Shawn-D stole the ball from Philip SHAWN-D: And how do you know so much about this? Philip quickly stole the ball back. PHILIP: How do you think? Belle told me. She tells me everything. You see, Shawn, Belle actually trusts me. And she needs a man she can trust. SHAWN-D: Wait a minute, I thought you were with that redhead. Not the original Stephanie, Max's little sister. PHILIP: I am. And, unlike you, I wouldn't cheat on the girl I'm with. I'm just there for Belle while you're too busy playing house with that psycho Jan. By this point, both boys had made several baskets. The score was tied. SHAWN-D: What are you saying to me, Philip? PHILIP: I'm saying you need to get your act together and go back to Belle before it's too late. SHAWN-D: Belle's already made it very clear she doesn't want me back. PHILIP: She does. She just wants you to work for it. What can I say, Shawn? You've really stepped in it this time. Philip shot a slam dunk. PHILIP: Look at that. I win. |

Actor's Pick 5 - The Crossover PETER: Hi, I'm Peter Reckell. KRISTIAN: I'm Kristian Alfonso. PETER: And we play Bo and Hope Brady. KRISTIAN: I also play Princess Gina and, on occasion, Nighttime Hope. For our actor's pick, we chose a scene from The Princess nd the Policewoman. Now, this scene would have been a crossover wiith All My Children. PETER: And although Bo was heard talking to Jesse, former chief of police in Pine Valley, nobody from AMC, aside from Uri Koslov, actually made an appearance. Except they did. We had two very special guests who joined us on the set. HOPE: And now, you'll get to see the clip. SALEM AIRPORT A man and woman, both in heir late 30s/early 40s were standing near a terminal. Bo and Hope, pushing the unconcius Koslov in a wheelchair entered, WOMAN: That them? MAN: Yep. BO: Slater, good to see you. Bo shook hands ith the man, whose name is Zach Slater, as did Hope. ZACH: Good to see you too, Bo. And you, Hope. HOPE: Hi, Zach. And who is this? ZACH: Special Agent Lea Marquez. She's been working on the Koslov case with us. Lea, this is Bo and Hope Brady, Commander and officer of the Salem Police Department. LEA: Pleasure. BO: So, where's Jesse? ZACH: He, uh...he couldn't make it. HOPE: Why not? LEA: Jesse's no longer with the force. ZACH: It's a long story. We'll discuss it later. But, right now, we gotta get this s.o.b. back to Pine Valley. BO: Right. Good to see you, Slater. HOPE: Bye, Zach. ZACH: See you two soon. LEA: Bye. HOPE: Oh, and Lea, keep him in line for me. LEA: I'll try. ZACH: Hey, like anybody could keep me in line. Zach and Lea, pushing Koslov's body, walked out. |

Goodbyes And now we've come to the point in this clip show where we must say goodbye. I believe I've shown you everything I can show you. However, there is one little bit left I guess I could how you. You see, unknown to me, after the last night of filming Christmas Carol, the main cast: John (Aniston), Brian (Blessed), Louise (Sorel), Jay (Johnson), and Liana (Liberato), all got together to have a little party. During this party, the filmed a short message for all of you. And I can now release it. Now, this is a message from the actors, I think, as they don't seem to be in character. Enjoy! TITAN In the board room, late at night, the five main cast members of A Days of Our Lives Christmas Carol are sitting around talking. LOUISE: That was some show, wasn't it? JOHN: At least you got that miserable old swine that is my character to change in the end. BRIAN: We had a hard job of it, to. LIANA: I had to cry on cue. That was kinda hard. JAY: You'll be doing a lot more of that if André DiMera (of MyHourglass) gets enough actors for his next script. LOUISE: Still, it's been quite fun. Everyone murmured in agreement. LIANA: Guys, look. There's a camera on, over there. Everyone looked over at the camera and started waving. JOHN: Hi. LOUISE: Hi there. BRIAN: Hullo. JAY: Hey. LIANA: Hi. JOHN: We hope you've enjoyed watching our adaptation of A Christmas Carol as much as we've enjoyed making it. BRIAN: And we've had. lot of fun. LIANA: It's been amazing! LOUISE: It really has.
