Chanel's wedding reception dress was definitely over the top with all of that fur stitched on the bodice. And I guess Allie is recycling outfits from the days when all she did was party and shop all day because I doubt she can afford the fancy dresses that she's been wearing to parties over the last couple of weeks on whatever salary she's making at the bakery.

I thought they were both over-dressed and although I did like Chanel’s dress I don’t think it was flattering on her, unless of course she really is pregnant and they were hoping to distract from it with the feathers and glitter.

I thought that was a very bad dress for her, too! I think I liked the idea of it more than the execution, and it didn't seem to flatter Raven Bowens. It actually struck me as one of those dresses a pregnant celebrity would wear in order to highlight her pregnancy -- like "Look at my bump, I'm pregnant and not hiding it!" Very weird choice, but I guess the wardrobe department on this show is full of those.

 Chanel looked pregnant to me too and the dress seemed to bring attention to her belly. Wonder why that choice of dress. It was pretty though.

I debated whether to post this but Raven was so open about it. She was asked on Twitter if she was pregnant. She replied that she has fibroid tumors which make her uterus look larger.

Thanks for posting that. I doubt anyone meant anything mean by their questions, although I know you’re not supposed to ask a woman if she’s pregnant for reasons like this. I know I wasn’t trying to be insulting to her. I think it’s natural to wonder and as long as no one is mean I don’t think it’s bad.

Just came here to post that tweet! I'm sorry Raven had to see that tweet -- people are so thoughtless with tagging actors in conversations like that. It's ridiculous.

You'd think the wardrobe department would've taken her body, whether it's pregnancy or fibroids or just how her body is, into account when selecting a dress, unless the intention was to make the character of Chanel appear pregnant. But we know how "good" these wardrobe people are.

i appreciate knowing that too.  I was speculating as well in my comment that she was pregnant but it was more about wondering if she was than the appearance of the dress, it did look nice on her no matter what.  I'm sorry she has to deal was that issue, I hope it gets better for her.

Marci's green dress looked nice. It was a good color for her and it's refreshing to see her wear something unfrumpy for a change.
