JKJPatch I thought I was going to be all alone in my thinking that Bren Foster/Quinn is not my cup of tea. I truly was not impressed with him at all and I doubt I am going to end up liking him too much in the near future. ... As of right now his relationship with Chloe looks like it is going to be very contrived and I prefer to see relationships develop more naturally between a couple on a soap. ... that is why I always liked Philip and Chloe together the best out of all Philip and Chloe's relationships because they really knew each other before they slept together and they took their time before they slept together the first time. You are not alone. LOL. At least they didn't accidentally bump into each other and have their eyes lock and it be undying love at first sight. It's much more believable that someone as gorgeous as Chloe would get hit on in a bar. If she was really a hooker, she would have told him her price up front, not have him guess at the price and leave her a wad of dough. If I'm to be completely honest, I would say I am suffering from the Philip factor and I suspect you are too, karebr. Seems to me this new guy is stepping into the hole left by Philip -- Philip should be the man in Chloe's life, not Quinn -- and in my opinion that hole is simply not fillable. You are right, it is going to be way too hard for me to accept Chloe with any other man in her life other than Philip especially since Philip and Chloe have always shared this connection to each other long before Parker was even born and they always end up having real deep feelings for each other that bring them back into each other's orbits. No matter who either one of them is with they will always end up screwing up any other relationships they are in because they are truly each other's soulmates. They can deny their feelings for each other but something will always bring them back to each other. Plus I refuse to believe that Philip will be gone forever. Jay is either going to end up coming back to the show to reprise the role or it will be recasted just as Chloe and Quinn are planning on spending the rest of their lives together and then Chloe will realize that she loves Philip and leave Quinn to be a family with Philip and Parker. |

^^^^ karebr - I feel exactly the same way that you do! The fact that none of their other relationships ever work is definitely due to their intense connection. If that strong of a connection still exists after 12 years how can they not be soul mates!!

I may feel differently about him after I see Monday's episode, or any subsequent episodes for that matter (and there will probably be another poll in Quinn's future). But first impression is he's just not doin' it for me. Not his look (he's got some weird helmet hair thing going on). Not his accent. Not his interaction with Chloe. Not nothin'. I feel the same way kpatch! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed something weird about his hair.  So we only saw a couple of scenes so far and I suppose I need to see a few more before making a judgment call on this guy. But yeah, first impressions are not great.  |

My first impression wasn’t anything special...I really wanted Brady and Chloe to be together, they have history together...I see a lot of EJ in him, so thats a BIG strike against him, also the accent, the hair, the suit, the way he treats women, the occupation! I just don’t get a warm fuzzy feeling about him!

I love how he looks. I think he is suuuuuper hot and want to see some shirt off action. Muhahaha
That being said, I don't like nor do I dislike the character. I think they are doing a better job with him then they have any other new characters since they started. Abigail went downhill FAST while my first impression of her was high. Couldn't stand Dario. Then again, once in a while I see a glimmer of hope in him, but come the next day again, he gets on my nerves. LOL
I do find myself looking forward to more of Chloe and Quinn though. I think he could be good for her right now seeing as she has absolutely no one in her corner. He seems sincere in wanting to help her IMO

I like the fact that he isn't being shoved down our throats nonstop like they did with Dimwit. They are introducing him slowly and he has a sense of mystery. I find that incredibly sexy. The tall dark handsome stranger. So far with Chloe he has been kind and supportive. I wonder how that will translate in the future when we find out what he is all about. |
