There were 5 or 6 actors in the role of Jack Deveraux.

For some characters I have a definite preference...

Jay is Philip

Eric as Brady

Lauren as Kate

Rachel as Chelsea

For some of the characters I really liked both choices...especially for Belle and for Abby. I really enjoyed Kirsten as teen Belle but I really enjoyed Martha as the adult Belle.

Yeah I agree. I liked both Kirsten and Martha as Belle. I like KS best in the role and KS and JC have amazing chemistry together but Martha did great in the role of adult Belle. MM and JC didn't have that same chemistry that KS and JC had. Martha's Belle worked better with Philip.

This was posted before I joined but wanted to share my answers anyways but most are based on what I have seen during re runs and I'm only doing characters I know
Josh or Wayne - this is purely based on reruns but I have to go with Wayne as he has more chemistry and connections to everyone
Ashley or Kate - easy Kate I have being watching her over the last couple of days from 2011 but when I first started DOOL last year she was Abby to me so
Jay or Kyle - I like Jay as again he's always being Philip 
Lauren or Deborah - this is hard because I was established with Lauren as Kate but Deborah was supportive of Lumi. 
Patrick or Austin - this is hands down Patrick again the first Austin I ever watched during re runs and he has the best chemistry with his costars particularly Kate Mansi
Lisa , Julie or Krista - Definitely Lisa as she was the OG Billie and first one I watched. Loved her and Bo (Roberts Bo)
Camila or Gabriella - Camila never have seen Gabriela and Camila is so established now
Chandler or Dylan - I like them both as I have seen Dylan during my binge watching of the Lumi archives but Chandler is always Will to me as he was the first Will I saw and he's being on there the longest out of all the Will's

Greg ruined Eric to beyond redemption

Chandler Massey or Dylan Patton (Will): I liked both but chandler is better as he’s more likable
