Chloe wakes up after her one-night stand with Quinn to find a note thanking her for services rendered -- and a wad of cash. "Chloe is insulted!" exclaims her portrayer Nadia Bjorlin. "First off, she was surprised that he disappeared. But then she finds this envelope and she wonders, 'What does this guy think I am?'"
Chloe later runs into Brady, who asks her about the newfound wealth. "Chloe's going through the envelope and counting the money," sets up Bjorlin. "She's surprised when Brady comes up to the table. Chloe lies to him about the money and changes the subject."
She then reveals she's moving out of Maggie's house. "Chloe is ready to be independent," explains the actress. "She wants to get her own apartment and create a new life for herself so that she can get Parker back."
And she realizes the cash will come in handy. "Chloe doesn't know the person who gave her the money. It's not like she can give it back to him. It is quite a bit of money, so she decides, "Why not use it?"

A stranger named Quinn pays Chloe for having sex with him, and she considers spending the money this week.
"Chloe's judgment isn't the best these days," notes Nadia Bjorlin. "She feels like everyone in Salem hates her, and so she's flattered by the attention this handsome man is giving her."
Not so flattering is the envelope of cash for "services rendered" that Chloe finds waiting for her when she steps out of the shower. "Quinn has left and Chloe's alone in the room," Bjorlin previews. "At first, the money puzzles her, and then she gets really insulted. But she doesn't know this guy and has no way of returning the money to him."
Later, Chloe quietly tries to count the cash when Brady approaches her table. "He's wondering where Chloe got all the money," Bjorlin shares.
Chloe lies and says that she's holding it for a friend. The subject turns to Chloe's living situation, and she confides to Brady that she's moving out of Maggie's home. Brady questions if that's a wise choice, because Maggie has been a solid friend.
"Chloe is ready to be independent," explains Bjorlin. These last few months have been hard on her. She wants to get her own apartment, and start creating a new life for herself so that she can get Parker back."
Chloe stops by Maggie's and shares her decision to move out. "Maggie has been a good friend to Chloe," notes Bjorlin, "but she can see that her being in the house has created problems between Maggie and Victor. Chloe really cares for Maggie and wants to see her happy."
Later, Chloe starts apartment-hunting and discovers that being independent comes at a steep price. With reluctance, Chloe realizes that her stash of unexpected cash could come in handy. "Chloe doesn't really know this guy who gave her the money," Bjorlin reasons. "Chances are, she'll never see him. It's quite a bit of money, so she decides, 'Why not use it?'"
But could Chloe's easy money create problems for her down the road? "Chloe isn't thinking too far ahead," Bjorlin offers. "This is more of an impulsive decision."
I'm freaking out

I need a shower after reading this. Ick! And, I'm surprised that Brady pulled himself away from Mel long enough to inquire how Chloe is, only to be nosy about where she got money. Mr. Sensitive.

I'm in no way a Brady and Chloe fan, but if I were him, I too would be running to the first woman in sight - all of his latest babysitting must be exhausting, he needs a break. Poor guy probably dropped off Melanie at the sandbox with Ciara and Theo for a play-date in hopes of mingling with an adult for a change.

All I can say is Bren Foster is hot, hot, hot and I want more of him on my TV. LOL Looking forward to this. I am still curious as to how his connection with Vivian is going to work out...

Yeah that part puzzles me. I am curious to see how this all plays out. I don't want Chloe to be a hooker, but I am wondering if it is going to be like a Pretty Woman type thing where he is lonely and pays her for her company.

Ok, here's my question.
Just how much is Chloe worth? She can get an apartment with that money? Really?!?!?! Her hoohah must be lined with gold.

This storyline is absolutely disgusting. All this does is prove Kate and Victor's assertion that Chloe is a slut and a whore. Way to go writers. Awesome story idea. NOT.
Does anyone else think that they are purposely giving Chloe a bad story as a way of pushing her out and getting her to not re-sign when she is up for contract renewal? I swear that's what this is. And if that's not what they're doing, if I was Nadia I'd be seriously considering other options.

Everyone knows that DH doesn't give a dam about Chloe and is using her as a punshing bag on the show. But the producers and the two other writers know Nadia,'s value for this show.they know she has a huge fanbase. They know that by losing Chloe, they won't only lose Chloe's fans, but also,Phloe's Broe's Luloe's Danloe's Carloe's....Nadia has HUGE fanbase and Chloe is one of the characters on daytime with one of the biggets fanbases ever. And Chloe is a character that stands on her own, doesn't need anyone to exist. That's why no matter how much they trash her,she is still very loved.

It's all rather revolting. IMO, Higley has put Brady in Mel's orbit deliberately to prevent him being involved in Chloe's story where he belongs. Gotta make sure that the boy is available to throw under the bus again when Nicole's storyline needs an extra player
