wendylou I liked Blake after the pig rescue but Gilliam went ahead when he told Mary about Blake's inheritance.

Yes, that was big of him. Very decent. I hope Mary doesn't choose Blake just because of his money. The way she reacted when she found out was a little disappointing. I would hate to see her choose money over love b/c she thinks it's her duty but of course, it would be quite soapy.

I loved the finale tonight. Carson and Mrs Hughes! So sweet. I'm going to miss Tom.

It was a great finale. Mr. Carson's proposal was sweet especially when he told her to take her time - he wasn't marrying anyone else. I wish Isobel had accepted Lord Merton.
I think I officially hate Mary.

Almost time for Season 6 premiere of Downton Abbey!!! I'm so excited to watch the final season.

Good first episode for the final season. I loved Mrs. Patmore (sp) asking Mr. Carson delicate questions on behalf of Mrs. Hughes. His answer was perfect. I am trying not to spoil in case people have not seen the episode.

I was glad to see Mrs. Hughes get the wedding she wanted. Edith stepped up and fired the publisher that couldn't work for a woman. Finally it appears that Robert is proud of her. Mary was so jealous when Edith got a little praise from her father.

It's funny, I usually like Mary but she is so mean to Edith. Edith is such an independent modern woman.
I'm loved the simple wedding. I'm glad everything worked out.
Oh! And I was SO glad to see Tom and Sibby return.
