Any fellow Downton Abbey fans here? I love it. It's sort of a soap opera itself. Just got caught up this weekend and watched last Sunday's episode last night. It was so sad I couldn't believe it.

I Netflixed the first season right before the second season started and I've been hooked ever since. I go back and watch it over and over again. It really is that soapy-goodness and real drama and conflict that I love in a story.

I'm almost done streaming Season One. It's really good. Lots of twists and turns, but well written. And, I love Maggie Smith.

I definitely recommend it. I got hooked when my mom and sister were watching a DVD of season 1 last Christmas. My sister loved it and had asked for it for a gift. I remember I got to the house and rolled my eyes thinking it would be really boring. I think it hooked me after like one episode.

I will def have to watch Downtown Abbey

Yes, they're finally together. I watched last night and they said next week is the Season 3 finale already. Sometimes when a show season comes to an end they may replay the previous episodes as a recap. You may want to check. Then you could get it free.
I'll try not to give anything away but I really liked last night's episode and can't believe I actually felt compassion for Thomas for once. He's always so sinister but last night they really made me feel for him. I was also really happy for Anna and Mr. Bates. I've always loved them.

I haven't watched Downton Abbey but a lot of people have told me it's really good. Well, I think you'd like it. You obviously can appreciate good writing, being a great romance writer yourself. Some lazy weekend I definitely recommend renting it on Netflix or something and watching a few hours. I bet you will be hooked. Just start at the beginning b/c it is basically a soap so you want to know the history.
