Chapter 9 HOTEL NICOLE: So, Quinn was a bit miffed at me. And, he soon caused bigger problems for me... MOVIE SET - FLASHBACK
Nicole is standing on a set, waiting for Quinn. Paul walks in.
PAUL: Bad news, baby girl. Quinn got deported back to Aussie, so we can't finish the film.
NICOLE: Deported? Why was he deported?
PAUL: Well, remember when I said that he was here on a green card? I lied. Looks like we're even now, huh?
NICOLE: What is that supposed to mean?
PAUL: You know what it means, Nikki. Before leavin', Quinn told me everything.
NICOLE: Oh god...
PAUL: Don't worry. I won't do anything to hurt you. I would never hurt my best actress. And now that my baby's having a baby, it should be twice as fun.
Paul laughsHOTEL MIA: Your dad's a creeper. NICOLE: More than you know. Anyway, After that, the months went by very slowly. Daddy never missed a chance to remind me that he was all too eager for me to have the baby. But, I knew what I had to do. I could never have the baby live with me and My dad. HOSPITAL - FLASHBACK
Nicole was sitting in a hospital room with Mike.
NICOLE: I need to give the baby up.
MIKE: Miss Walker are you saying that you want an....
NICOLE: What? No. God no. Nothing like that. It's just...because of my current living situation, I need to give her up once she's born. I can probably keep her for a few days while I'm in the hospital, but she can never know my father. And, I'd like your help.
MIKE: Well, as I said, I will do what I can.HOTEL NICOLE: Unfortunately, we couldn't have known what was about to hapen. |

Chapter 10 HOTEL MIA: What happened next? NICOLE: Well, the pregnancy went along as planned. Until, one day I came to the hospital to find that Dr. Horton had been transferred to Africa. He had given my records over to another doctor. So, then I gave birth to a baby girl. And, I gave her the name that Quinn and I had planned on... HOSPITAL - FLASHBACK
Nicole sat in a hospital bed, holding her newborn baby.
NICOLE: She's so little. And so beautiful and perfect. My beautiful Narelle Ryeleigh Walker.
Paul walked in.
PAUL: Hey, princess.
NICOLE: What do you want?
PAUL: Nikki. I'm here to see my little princess and her new gorgeous baby girl.
Nicole brought the baby closer to her.
NICOLE: Get away from us, Daddy! You will never be part of this baby's life! Ever!
PAUL: Hey, take it easy, princess. I just wanna see my baby girl.
NICOLE: Well, you're not allowed to see her.
PAUL: Don't say that. You know that ain't true. You're gonna let me see her as much as I want. Just think of all the missed opportunities you and I had. I'll be able to live out those and relive all the fun times between us.
NICOLE: You sick monster! Get out!
PAUL: Okay. But, I'll be back.
Paul left. Nicole looked at the baby.
NICOLE: You see now why I have to do this? I don't want you to have the childhood I had. Nobody should ever have to go through that, especially not a baby. All I want is for you to be happy and live a good life. But, it can't be here. I can't give you the life you deserve. Some day, you'll understand. I love you, Nara. I love you so much, please never forget that. I hope some day I'll be able to meet you again, maybe when I've gotten out of this place. And I hope, when I meet you, that you'll be happy. Because that's what I want for you. To be happy and to have a better life than I've had. HOTEL NICOLE: Once I gave you up for adoption, daddy kept a close eye on me and never let me check on you. By the time Daddy was arrested, the adoption agency I gave you to was closed, and nobody had left a forwarding address. But I never stopped looking. I never stopped trying to find you. |

Previews for Next Week HOTEL Mia is sitting on a bed, watching TV. Suddenly, the screen goes black. MIA: What the...? A man wearing a mask and sunglasses appears on the screen. There is a gray corrugated background swaying back and forth behind him. The only sound coming from the TV is a low buzzing noise. |
