There were some amusing lines today, my favorite being between Vivian and Stefano.....
Stefano says Vivian broke into his house, she said no she didn't and this is the back and forth between them.....
"the door was ajar"
"the door is never ajar"
"no, it's a door...but this time it was ajar"
Great repartee....!!!!
Rafe told Roman not to get his panties in a wad....!!!!!
Gus tells Vivian Stefano and EJ have a meeting to discuss corporate goals....Vivian responds.....
"yes like who do we whack next".......
Vivian talks to Gus about hiding in Kate's closet and asks him....
"Find anything you like...??"
Then Gus tells Vivian the DiMera's have a jail cell in their basement and Vivian responds....
"Well, who doesn't...!!!"
No matter what else, the dialogue on Days is top notch...!!!

LOL, thanks for sharing all of those! The first one sounds like the kind of conversation characters would have had on the movie "Airplane!". My favorite though is the one where Vivian claims that everyone has a jail cell in their basement. Classic Vivian!

When Gus and Vivian are talking about where everyone will be Gus tells Vivian Kate is having a facial, Viv responds:
"Isn't that rather like sweeping the beach?"

Oh, and when Philip is threatening to throw Vivian in the river with a strong current, Chloe asks...
"Philip, would you like me to gather some rocks for her pockets?"

Vivian was definitely a much needed diversion to the heaviness of today's episode (Faye's death).
Outstanding performance, great writing, excellent delivery.

Considering Chloe tried to kill herself in that river with a strong current and Philip jumped in to save her, you wouldn't think they would be joking about it.
Pallison, I'm so happy you listed all these. I did today's summary and promised myself I'd remember the great lines, but of course I couldn't.
A couple other favorites from Monday's show:
Vivian ponders how it's possible that Fay raised both a porn star and a bookkeeper at the same time.
Chloe tells Philip that she's devoted to Parker, and Philip says that boys like nothing more than having a slavishly devoted mother. Just ask him, he knows.
While not a side-splitter, I also liked it when he told her that he speaks from experience -- living in the Kiriakis mansion is like doing battle.

It always kind of sticks in my craw when people refer to Nicole as a porn star......that is not what it was so I tend to be a little uneasy when it's made to sound like Nicole was anything but her sick father's victim......I don't like these references.......

Yes, that episode was definately a hoot. I had to try to remember that i was at work listening to it online and stiffle the laughter. I absolutely LOVED the Phillip/Vivian scenes Vivian made reference several times to Gus about "We're here to get information, not try stuff on" and "Find anything you like in Kate's closet?". Makes me wonder if this is a prelude to the gay storyline that has been rumored to take place and if Gus is going to be involved in it somehow. And yes, the jail in the basement scene almost had me spitting tea on my computer  |

Yeah, I loved when Gus told Vivian that Stefano had a jail in his basement, and she indicated "so what, who doesn't". The timing and look on his face was pretty good.
The whole scene with Gus and Vivian was great.

Though I missed the whole convo the other day I had to add that I am loving Vivian more and more these days. I sorely miss "my" witty Kate, but Vivian has been a grand substitute. She and Gus are clearly in possession of the Salem brain at the moment as well.

Today the pervy Rafe 2 was talking about leaving. He was talking out loud to himself. He said he would miss Sami and the twins! I doubt he was talking about Alli and Johnny! Then he wondered if Nicole and Taylor ever made a movie together cause "that would be hot".

Even though today's show was just so sad, We can at least thank Victor for a small chuckle.
I think this was the line as he was talking to Kate:
