Chapter 12 PENTHOUSE Christmas had come and gone as usual in Salem. Now it was Boxing Day, the day after Christmas. A large group of people, including Sami, Lucas, Will, Allie, Sydney, Shawn-D, Belle, Claire, and Brady had gathered at the Penthouse for John's family meeting. JOHN: Thank you all for coming. I suppose you're wondering why I've gathered you all here today when I could have easily told you all this yesterday. Well, I figured Christmas wasn't the right day to do it. But, we need to have this meeting. SAMI: Why? JOHN: Because this family needs to come back together. Marlena was the one who held us together, but she's not here anymore. So now we need to do what she did for so long. I don't know how she did what she did, but she was good at it. Now, I realize that it's harder for some of you, those who live outside of Salem, to come home every few months. WILL: Well, now that our daughter is almost 17, Sonny and I will be coming out more. SAMI: Eric would have been here if Colorado wasn't buried under a huge mountain of snow. BRADY: And I'll come when I can get vacation time at Titan. JOHN: And, since I'm retired, I'll be spending more time flying out to see you all. BELLE: Dad, whatever happens, we'll get through it. Together. BRADY: We're a family. We always will be. JOHN: That's a fact. BRADY PUB John wasn't the only one having a family meeting. At the Pub, Chelsea and Max had met up with Bo, Hope, and Billie. The five were sitting at a table. BO: All right, kid. We're all here. What's the big news? Go on, spill it. CHELSEA: Okay. I've known for a couple of weeks now, but I didn't want to tell you guys until I was absolutely sure. BILLIE: Tell us what? CHELSEA: I'm pregnant. |

I still want to know what Morgan and Sami are planning... also wondering if Sami will change her mind once she knows Chelsea is pregnant!

Chapter 13 BRADY PUB CHELSEA: I'm pregnant. Billie stood up and hugged Chelsea. BILLIE: Sweetie, that's great! CHELSEA: Thanks, mom. What do you think, dad? BO: Who am I gonna have to kill? Chelsea chuckled slightly. CHELSEA: No one. I've been trying to get pregnant for a while now. BO: Okay then. Who's the father? CHELSEA: Max, of course. He's the only guy I could ever truly love. And, I have some other big news, Max and I are engaged. Another round of hugs came. This time from both Billie and Bo. BILLIE: Congratulations! BO: That's awesome, kid! CHELSEA: Thanks. It only just happened, so I don't know when the date is yet. But, as soon as I do, I'll let you guys know. They didn't know that Sami was a few tables away and had heard everything. She walked outside, got out her phone and dialed a number. SAMI: Hey, I need to see you. It's about that plan we have. O'HAIRE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT A woman walked out of one of the terminals. WOMAN: Ah, it's good to be back in Salem. And now that she and I are in the same town once more, things will begin to get very interesting. |
