Chapter 3 PARK Sydney and Ceri sat on a park bench. Sydney's head lay on Ceri's shoulder. Ceri had her arm around Sydney. Sydney had just finished telling her everything that had happened recently. CERI: I'm sorry that I haven't been here to help you lately. SYDNEY: It's okay. You and your dad and sister were in Europe. CERI: I know. But, you shouldn't have to go through this by yourself. Plus, I'm your girlfriend. We're supposed to look out for each other. SYDNEY: And you are. Aside from Grandpa John, you're one of the few people that looks out for me. And I love you. CERI: I love you, too. Ceri and Sydney kissed. CERI: Is there anything I can get you? Anything you need? SYDNEY: Just hold me. I'm glad you had fun in Europe, but I missed being held by you. CERI: I missed it too. SALEM INN Morgan was getting on a black dress, thinking about things that had occurred only weeks ago. CAR - FLASHBACK
Morgan sat in her car, which was parked outside the high school.
MORGAN (to herself): You are mine, Max Brady. And if I can't have you, no one can.SALEM INN Her cell phone went off. It was a text. The text read "It's time!". Morgan looked at the text, closed the phone, and smiled. |

Chapter 4 SALEM PLACE Chelsea and Stefanie were sitting at a table, catching up. CHELSEA: It's really different, seeing you with red hair. STEPHANIE: I know. But, that's the color it was before. I decided to go back to looking like I used to. CHELSEA: Well, I like it. It looks cool. STEPHANIE: Thanks. How's Max? CHELSEA: He's great. We're both doing really well. STEPHANIE: That's great. So, I heard some news the other day from Max. And, I'm just wondering if you can confirm... CHELSEA: We weren't supposed to tell anyone yet. I mean, it's fine that he told you, but, I don't want anyone to know yet. STEPHANIE: So, it's true? CHELSEA: Yeah, it's true. Stephanie got up and gave Chelsea a hug. STEPHANIE: That's... Before she could finish her sentence, both her and Chelsea's phones went off. They looked at their phones. Both had gotten texts saying "It's time". TOWN SQUARE Claire and Ciara were walking around the Square. CIARA: I'm so pumped for this! CLAIRE: I know! In only two more days, it'll be Christmas. Then, next week will be New Years. CIARA: And on New Year's Day, it's road trip time. The two girls hugged. CLIARA: Where should we go first? CLAIRE: I don't know. As long as we get out of Salem. Don't get me wrong, this place is my home, and I love it. But, I'm ready for an adventure. |

Chapter 5 MAX & CHELSEA'S APARTMENT Chelsea and Stephanie had departed soon after they had gotten those texts. Now, Max and Chelsea were getting ready for something. CHELSEA: So, I was talking to Stephanie today, and she said you told her. MAX: Yeah, I did. Look, Chels, I know you wanted to keep it a secret, but Steph's you're best friend. She should know. CHELSEA: Well, she would have found out, anyway. Everybody's gonna find out sometime in the near future. Sooner or later, they're gonna notice. MAX: Yeah. CHELSEA: So, you ready for this thing tonight? MAX: Definitely. I just hope Morgan doesn't try anything. CHELSEA: What do you mean? MAX: Look, it's really not that big a deal, but, a few weeks ago, Morgan tried to kiss me. CHELSEA: She what?! MAX: I didn't let her! I couldn't believe she even tried to do that, seeing as she knows that we're together. Chelsea took a deep breath. CHELSEA: Okay. Okay, let's just try to get through this night. Luckily, you and Steph will be there. MAX: Are you okay? CHELSEA: I'll be fine. I'm just really mad at Morgan. I can't believe she tried to do that! Max hugged Chelsea. MAX: Hey, it's okay. You know that you're the only girl I could ever truly love. CHELSEA: I know. And you're the only boy I could ever truly love. Max and Chelsea kissed. Chelsea smiled. CHELSEA: Come on, let's go. |

fluffysmom--the only reason I didn't say engagement was because I couldn't remember if they were married / engaged already in this story.
I just reread and find it curious that all 3 women got the exact same text.
