I have a LiveJournal, which is where I began posting my first Days fic, but I stopped posting there and am not sure I will resume using it when I return to writing that fic. I am not a huge fan of the site for the following reasons. 1) It's hard to get traffic to the site without cross-posting the link elsewhere. Some sites are fine with that. Others are not. JKJPatch was cool with me posting a link to my weekly websoap, but I also post a link to My Hourglass on that site. 2) The format of LiveJournal can be difficult for readers to navigate. The new chapters are on the page readers arrive at, but there is no way that I have found to permanently link to the first post in the story. And even if people find the first chapter, it isn't very easy to find the next chapter. IF most of the stories are short and only single posts, this may not be that big a problem. 3) Spam. There is nothing worse than getting a comment notification in email, only to find out that it is spam for a Russian porn site. That was happening a lot at the time I was posting regularly. I don't know if it has been fixed. Thanks Jwsel for the info. I have read many stories on LJ, so I know what you mean about the format of new posts. I was hesitant to join, and I see my hesitation might be founded.

It's not on my site but I did post it here. The readers here were far more responsive to Jack and another love interest. D2D really didn't want to read that. Third Times A Charm is the other one..I started this one as an alternate ending to the other I love that alternate ending idea...I might have to do that since my story is set up as an ongoing triangle...someone is going to end up losing the guy...which means one set of fans might be unhappy. An alternate ending might help! You are just sparking my brain tonight. Glad to help..I had gotten so invested in the characters I created that I didn't care about Jennifer anymore..I wanted to explore Jack with someone else since he was my favorite character and the show never gave him a real love interest beside Jennifer. It's fun to do the alternate endings because then you get the best of both worlds..LOL

I always thought Jack was the best part of Jack and Jennifer....now you have given me a chance to enjoy him without her.
